My background personally and professionally has nothing to do with real estate. My nephew Jesse is paying me to listen lol but come to think of it I have dealt with apartment hunting a good part of my adult life. I know housing is a pesky issue for many people but I have found that it is a tad more difficult when you are disabled and need to factor in many variables of not only where you live but the kind of housing. I had lived in Philly for about 35 years when I taught at Temple but when I retired finding an accessible and affordable housing was like climbing Mount Everest when you can’t exactly walk. Philadelphia waiting lists for affordable housing is so astronomical that they closed the list about 3 years ago and that was before all the hullabaloo about the political climate and COVID. I simply love Philly and hated to move but the only apartment I became aware of from my sister was in a little town in NEPA. The apartment is nice but so many other factors of community living for me to have a better quality of life are missing. Jesse and Matt I enjoy listening to your podcast and genuinely receiving wisdom and perspective from it. Thanks so much for all you are sharing.

I just listened to the Aj & Jon interview. They’re so impressive at mid twenties with 5 properties already in their portfolio. I found it inspiring and wished I could call in with questions. Nice work.
