    Send us Fan Mail Election season can make good people talk like enemies, and it can make even steady believers feel anxious, angry, or exhausted. I put on my preacher hat and walk straight into the tension: politics matters, voting matters, but Jesus is King, and our hope cannot rise and fall on a candidate, a party, or a news cycle. When the culture feels like it is splitting at the seams, we do not have to be surprised by conflict, and we do not have to be ruled by it.  We talk about Christian voting with a different center of gravity: the finished work of Christ. That foundation frees us to care deeply without being consumed, to grieve what is painful without declaring hope dead, and to speak honestly without turning our neighbors into villains. I challenge the easy habit of labeling people, mocking them, or passing along rumors just because they support “our side.” Scripture calls us to share the hope we have with gentleness and respect, and I unpack what that looks like in real conversations and online posts.  Then I speak directly to anyone who is unsure where they stand with God. Jesus does not demand that you get your life perfect first. He offers forgiveness, new life, and salvation by grace through faith, because of his death and resurrection.
