    Shooting For the Stars; Mass Shooting

    We, American citizens, are living through an unnatural epidemic of violence normalization, at the expense of our children; and their innocent youth. We are defiantly adamant about the right & privilege for us to access these tools of death. We turn on the television, news, social media, our informational outlet and see a mass shooting like we do commercial ads for gambling, alcohol, and other destructive behaviors. Then we're sold a prescription that should fix it all, but we cannot afford the bill! Our societal ailment is giving our youth tools of death, depriving them of the appropriate socio emotional growth & support, denying them access to mental health, and setting them loose to go to school and other family events to play shoot em up. We have decided to add more guns to the situation and are trying to give even more; to place our youth in an environment of guns - bullets - and bullet proof school attire. The value of lyfe has become too expensive to invest in beyond the first exasperation of air. We hold all lyfe to be sacred, but we ain't doin a damn thing to save it. So wanna go shooting for the stars; Mass Shooting.     Coach Shine Their Light

    Coaching is a sacred service and duty. The ability to affect mold shape and to grow someone’s mind and talent is not a small act, done right it is the greatest gift a person can receive. As a coach you are finding the pieces of resistance or deliberate sabotage in a person and helping them discard that useless baggage. The gift is so grand because a coach, a real coach, doesn’t really teach the person anything new or even share with them something they didn’t already have. Coaching brings the best out of the person and gives the person the credit they deserve for allowing themself to shine. A coach brings the best parts of the person out and allows those qualities to break down the lesser refined traits. In doing so the coach is giving them access to the best parts of themself, and the confidence necessary to express it, on command - at will. A coach can be anyone and everyone, however; being a coach is not for everyone, and not everyone is a coach. In a refined definition a coach is a step below a parent, they are a parent with a specific boundary set, like a therapist, teacher, counselor, ... Coaching has many different elements: athleticism, strategy, artistic talent, mental strength, ... It occurs on fields, and courts, in classrooms, and across board games, however; the most significant place coaching takes place is in the emotional center; where confidence lies. A coach’s greatest trick is not to teach something new but to bring the worst part of a student into the light and the student to view it wonderfully!     Suicide an End, to Pain

    Suicide is the cessation of lyfe, but more than that it is the cessation of an inner pain, trauma, the individual cannot truly identify; in order to heal. Inner pain is a real thing and it’s a serious ailment, especially when there is no end to the pain. When it haunts you in your sleep, bewitches you while awake, and intoxicates you while lucid. It becomes a monster of its own. Cats can't hold that kind of pain without an outlet. Suicide is enacted in a variety of ways: some in silence and made to exhibit an accident, others a very clear and direct indication of the pain, and then there are the violent outburst that can include others in the act. Depending on the how someone enacts a suicide is truly indicative of where there were mentally and emotionally. Suicide occurs when there is opportunity and decisive choice of submission, however; suicide prevention is possible: with mental emotional support, someone to hear you without judgment, an individual to be straight with you, but lift you up, and a friend to do the ugly things to be there for you. That is how we disaffect suicide in individuals, and affect the community in a postive way. Lift ya heads someone loves you! Could be some anxiety inducing discussion, but please allow me to give this conversation some lyfe and take a listen, delicately.     Appreciating the Inner Child; Raising the Outer

    Raising children is one of the most difficult blessings you can have the opportunity to share. It is filled with wonder, amazement, beauty and the most difficult challenges you will ever encounter. The little minions never follow the directions given, acting out their britches, and getting grown before their time. All little reflections of what they see they absorb, and we hate to see reflections. We find looking at the crack in ourselves is the most difficult thing to do, acknowledging - admitting our mistakes. Yet, if we are to be better models and leaders for our children then we have to remember what do kids really need, what does your inner child really need? Find it, feed it and share those wonderful pieces with the world of adolescence around you.     Autonomy of Women's

    A woman's autonomy is and has been deailed throughout history. It was usd to establish precedent by the United States Supreme Court to deny women sexual autonomy. Everything woman has been determined identified and established; by men. The voice to authorize their freedom has always been limited by the "opposite and opposing" force that is man. What does that mean? What does it look like? What is the reality if w look at more than what we're given? How much does a woman's life change when given a true opportunity to break beyond the lmits of a system with double standards? This discussion is that of a father trying to best prepare his daughters for a world and society that views them not just as second class citizens, but second class in sexes. There's an answer, and our women deserve beter from us. Lest we forget every single one of us, begat our first breath because of the long endured painful bliss of pregnancy. During our live women's re-empowerment event, we had the pleasure of experiencing many facets of “woman” through the art of dance, painting, music, and poetry. Listen up and get down for the cause, as Asett discusses the topic of womanhood with a diversity panel of firile goddesses. Firility is not recognized as an official word. We are empowered to create our own language to describe women that is equal, if not greater than, man’s “virility.” Firile is born of fire, a powerful force of nature. For all the people who have suppressed our voices, used their physical strength to hold us down, failed to see us for more than our bodies, used our empathy against us, viewed us as the lesser sex, paid us less than we deserved, or put us on a pedestal…This is for you.   This is our moment to crown ourselves goddesses.
