What motivates you to obey Jesus' command to make disciples of all nations? Fear, guilt, obligation, something else? I don't think you're alone! I know all of these factors have been a part of my journey. What if genuine love was the compelling factor to do what Jesus said, both individually and collectively as a church family? Love One Another: God Made Visible Through Love

What is the clearest evidence that God lives among us? Is it our preaching, our programs, our music, our confession, or even our acts of charity? Or is it our love for one another? Has our church attendance produced the visible fruit of love? In John's writings, we see how the unseen God made His love visible in Christ and how that same love must now be made visible in His people. John presses us to examine whether God’s abiding love is truly in us if it does not move outward toward our church family. The world cannot see God. But it can see the church. Who is My Neighbour...Stepping Over or Stepping Into?

Love is a wonderful thing. To know that God loves you unconditionally and lavishly is mind blowing! To know that God wants you to love Him not just "theoretically" but with everything within you is challenging yet very encouraging. But what about loving others the way God loves you...and what about loving others the way you love yourself? Hmm...that's a little more difficult!
