SUMMARY How to stay focused on your path and realize your goals Overview The Heightening Podcast is a coaching program that educates and empowers women to live the life they were created to live. We share life-touching and changing topics and feature experts in personal growth and success. Brief Guest Bio Tiffany is the founder of Rubies of Wisdom Ministries and Tiffany Dixon, LLC. With creativity and spiritual discernment, she empowers and inspires with classes, workshops, and coaching. Tiffany is a life and purpose coach. She has many roles. She is a wife, a mother, a corporate manager, entrepreneur, certified life and purpose coach. Episode Summary To stay focused and realize your goals, you have to make changes in any area of your life. However, making change requires going through a lot of transitions. Whenever we sit down to write our resolutions and goals, we normally horn in to spend time with ourselves and meditate within our spirits. This leads us into finding one word that will help us through everything we intend to do. Working on yourself and applying this one word in every area of your life will drive the desire for change to make yourself better maybe personally or even professionally. Focus Having focus as your one word and applying it throughout everything you do without disruptions can help you realize your goals. However, a lot of distractions such as socializing, binge-watching, mindless eating, or spending without planning can ultimately disrupt your focus. Whenever you have something in your life that is taking you away from your purpose or goals, you need to replace it with something that's going to bring you to your goal or help you focus. This replacement process is known as transition. Transition Transition is a mindset you need to switch the way you view it. It is allowing you to look at everything with a different lens. You need to change your lens and look at it from a different perspective. Distractions Distractions are things that interfere with our focus by interrupting our transition. Distractions such as social media can make things look like life is so perfect yet they can get you to the point of not being able to handle it anymore. That’s when you should seek transition and desire things to be different. You have to set your gaze on the path before you without getting attracted to the distractions. The following can help you overcome your distractions. Honest and consistent evaluation    Look, think, and decide       Take both physical and spiritual action To all the ladies out there, we are kingdom builders. We are citizens of the kingdom and it's time for us to make an impact in every area of our lives. God has taken us from level to level, glory to glory. He has elevated us in our minds, our bodies, and our spirits to go look at our goals. Therefore, stay on the path and keep going. Heighten yourself along your lines. Learn more about Mal at www.learnwhatmatters.org  www.morethananadmin.com Episode Summary In this episode, we discuss how one can live a purposeful life through being more intentional. With the world of information and thousands of energizing ideas every day, many people still live either purposeless or unfulfilled because of confusion or lack of being intentional. Being passionate This is when you love and put all your resources into whatever you do and keep on loving it no matter what you go through. Being passionate about your job, dreams or interests can make you more intentional. Having faith in others This is when you have faith in others and get more concerned about their welfare. By having faith, you also empower them to be more confident and proactive. This makes you and everybody around you intentional. Living an authentic life This is when you really know who you are and constantly check who you are or who you want to become. By being authentic, you become self-aware and only speak through your actions with little self-sacrifice. Being self-aware To be self-aware, spend a lot of time by yourself and engage in activities such as solo trips. This will enable you to interact with many people who will help you learn, understand and respect other people's cultures. It also draws you closer to God and trust in him. Being influential The other way of being intentional is through being influential. Talking to the right people about life matters such as dreams or interests can keep you influential to people and more intentional to yourself. Sharing your successes and failures The other way to be intentional is by telling people your own life experiences and research. Talking about people's personal development and self-awareness, health and wellness make you more intentional even to others. Brief Guest Bio Dr. Sheree is a leadership and learning consultant, international facilitator, and positive change catalyst. Her work is grounded in a strengths-based philosophy of searching for the best in individuals and organizations. Episode Summary In this episode, we discuss some tips you can use to help you thrive along even as the pandemic continue to hit the world. Many people all over the world were caught unaware of the sudden eruption of the Covid-19 pandemic. Travel plans were canceled, people lost their jobs as some were also forced to work from home. Consequently, people learned to be proactive and innovative other than sticking to their old means. Here are some of the tips you too can use to thrive. Facing Change Human beings are known to be creatures of habit and are constantly faced with the desire for change. To thrive through change during this pandemic, it is good to position yourself by accepting that change is a journey, it is constant, and could be sudden. Another consideration is to be aware of the change. You should pay attention to what bubbles up for you during change.  It can show you where you should place your focus to achieve the desired positive change. You can also face change by taking action and experimenting to discover what works and what doesn’t work as you work towards your desired change. Being Innovative Another way to thrive during this pandemic is to be innovative. Be proactive and come up with people-want ideas. People want options on how to care for themselves better and having access to suggestions and tips to care for their mind, body, and soul at the ready can help them do just that. Celebrating Wins In a soulful change journey, remember that you have a purpose and uniquely designed purpose. It is vital not to get caught up in the business of comparing your progress to anyone else. You, therefore, have to celebrate all your efforts because it’s what gives you the momentum to keep moving. Starting before you are ready Another great tip for thriving is starting before you think you are ready. Many people overthink whenever they desire to achieve a particular goal. Dr. Sheree suggested two books - The One Thing by Gary W. Keller and Jay Papasan and Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less by Greg McKeown, they helped her focus on writing her book, What A Difference A Change Makes! and can direct your life towards having priorities and achieving your goals. With these tips, you can face this pandemic boldly and thrive. The tips give a clear roadmap towards your success.
