But you’re headphones are dead and the kiddos are within earshot so you’ve gotta choose something that won’t affront their little innocent ears but still has that grown-up conversation you crave because you can’t listen to another kids show in repeat or you might cry... This is the podcast for you. Just try it. And try it under at least Ep. 007 because there’s a moment with a certain Shatner joke you don’t want to miss. 😂🙏🏻

Stay a while and listen, Dad! I’ve been enjoying the podcast since launch and these guys really deliver. My favorite bit in their shows is the Dad Update, having just recently become a father myself. The nerd stuff is all just icing on the cake. I look forward to many new episodes to come!!

I’m not a dad, but I am at the very least a nerd. This podcast is a blast to listen to. They just dropped an episode on LOTR (my personal favorite fantasy universe), and I loved every minute. Now that they’ve finished 10 episodes, I feel I can leave an informed review of my experience so far. FORMAT As of episode 10, you can expect an introductory session on the hosts updating what they’ve been up to in “dad life.” They spend the majority of each episode after that discussing what they like or dislike on a topic chosen for that week. They then play a short game and then field Q/A to round out the episode. TOPIC RANGES So far, these episodes have featured a wide array of topics ranging from “What would you like to see in the next phase of Marvel’s cinematic universe?” to “What would you like to see in Amazon Prime’s LOTR series?” These questions are very straightforward, but what keeps me coming back is the banter among the dads. You can tell they know and care about each topic deeply, and that they are good friends with each other outside the podcast. This leads to allot of organic, fun moments that are fun to catch as you listen. If you think this sounds at all appealing, you should definitely lend an ear to Dadgum Nerds.
