Girl Up Wings, undertook #storytellingchallenge by @girlupcampaign. If you think about it, our world is made up of stories that hold the power to inspire people, and start a change. Women have opinions to voice, stories to narrate, thoughts to lead with but for too long, they have not had representation on the platforms. It is time for the voices of girls and women to be amplified. Breaking barriers is no easy task, but if we all come together nothing is impossible. We bring to you, The Wings Podcast, a collection of stories of a few powerful women leading the revolution!

    Anish Gawande is the co-founder and curator of Pink List India, the country's first list of politicians who publicly supported LGBTQ+ rights. He also founded the Founded the Dara Shikoh Fellowship, an interdisciplinary residency aimed at fostering global cultural dialogue around Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh. Currently serve as its Director and oversee the application process, institutional collaborations, and fieldwork coordination for Fellows.     Divya Dureja is a 3 times TEDx Speaker with a nuanced body of work in poetry film and performance, seminars and training on mental wellness, women and queer issues across different countries. She is a well-renowned counselling psychologist, mental health and sexuality educator, an International Spoken Word Poet, a creative strategies consultant and an events curator & presenter with her own organisation based in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.     TRIGGER WARNING: S*xual Assault Simran Rawat is the co-founder and Trustee of A Cry for Help Foundation, a charitable trust working in the area of adolescent mental health. She is currently a 3rd year Journalism student at LSR, passionate about all things creative. She is the Regional Leader- India for clubs under the UN Foundation Girl Up campaign.     S2 EP 01- Pragmatic Talks With Pallavi

    TRIGGER WARNING- Sexual harassment  With Season 2, we shed light on some of the toughest ordeals our society goes through.  Season 2 will introduce you to 4 wonderful people who spared their valuable time to talk with Girl Up Wings on nuances revolving around issue of sexual harassment in society. Pallavi Mahajan is the India representative of the Globle Goodwill Ambassador to carry forward women empowerment in 192 countries and team leader for UN Volunteers.  A gender advocate working for Economic independence and social visibility of genders, she co-founded an intersectionalist feminist NGO called 'The Azaad Initiative' which recently received UN Volunteer Status.  As a '2019- UN Gender Fellow', she has worked closely with the marginalized gender community in India on diversity and inclusion in workplace through policy and activism.  Pallavi recently receivedthe coveted Chevening Scholarship to begin her masters in gender and development at IDS, University of Sussex 2020 .

    Tanya Kathpal transformed her passion for news reading to find a community-driven platform called Eat My News with more than 3000 members across the world. Eat My News was born with a vision that one day every person in this world will be positively inspired, informed, and intelligent. Under her leadership, Eat My News has hosted 10 Youth Leadership Conferences. She believes in the power of messages and how one message can change a life.     EP 04- Unleashing the inner goddess of Anannya

    Anannya is a social entrepreneur who specializes in gender equality. A two time vice president at AIESEC in Chennai. She founded inner goddess at the age of 20. Her other initiatives include big sister program which is a mentorship program for underprivileged girls.  Anannya was the Indian delegate of the 2018 girls 20 summit at Munich Germany.     Ayushi Mishra thrives at the intersection of Technology, Business and people in its most true sense. She is an entrepreneur. An experienced and passionate product creator with deep empathy for consumer and customer needs, balanced with a strong eye for emerging trends. She recently made it to Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia for her start-up DronaMaps, a platform to power sustainable development with drone based 3D maps and geospatial insights. As a graduate student at Johns Hopkins, she Co founded Marigold Health (funded by NIH ), a mobile platform leveraging natural language processing for chat based peer support thereby scaling the capacity of care teams.     Ankita Chawla is a visual content creator and designer. She is currently working as a Senior Analyst at Deloitte. She also writes poetry and is a photographer. She got famed to create one of the most creative and unconventional resumes of all time. Ankita can be found doodling, doing photography,  reading comics or writing poetry in her leisure time and is passionate and curious about the world around her. She is also, a TEDx Speaker.  She is one of the most creative people you will come across and her aesthetic feed is also, something to look out for!

Gurmehar is also ambassador of Postcards For Peace, a charitable organisation which works towards eliminating discrimination and co-founder of Citizens for Public Leadership, an initiative in field of public policy in India.
