Bariatric Bad Boys Are Keeping It Real - Kirk Hunt (Pt.2)

Mike continues his conversation with Kirk Hunt who had his procedure more than 7-years ago. Kirk talks about moderating the Bariatric Bad Boys Club support group on Facebook and why it is different from other groups (link below).  They discuss the one thing that could be a major selling point for the procedure for men but not many people talk about...but they do!  Mike also learns the one thing bariatric people ask that makes Kirk lose his zen-like nature. We also have the BBros' Shout Out and Mike has a craving for the latest Chaffle of the Week! NOTE: There is some strong language and frank discussion of men's sexuality in this episode This Week's BBros Shout Out goes to: Gregory Give a follow on his IG at: https://www.instagram.com/barbasecas/ You can nominate a Bariatric Bro for a Shout Out by emailing us at bariatricbros@gmail.com, send us a DM on our socials or text us. Spread 1 tsp of pizza sauce on each chaffle to coat the top (I use Rao's as it's low in carbs). Then cover with shredded mozzarella and top with your favorite toppings and sprinkle a bit more mozzarella cheese.  Note: cut your toppings up nice and small so you can get good coverage.  Place under broiler or in toaster oven and cook until cheese is melted.  Keep an eye on them so they don't burn!  Enjoy... Steveithechaffleguy says:  Make some of the chaffles up ahead of time and freeze them. Then pop them in the toaster and add your toppings and you have quick pizzas anytime you feel the need... Struggling For Support At Home

The journey to better health for a Bariatric Bro is not an easy one. However, that path can be made smoother to navigate when you have the full support and encouragement of your significant other.  Mike talks with his wife, Stacey, about her feelings on his decision to have bariatric surgery and how it affected their lives.  They also discuss how to talk about these issues if your partner is not supportive of your choice. Mike is obsessed with chaffles!  That leads to an interesting conversation with Steve I - The Chaffle Guy and a brand new segment on the podcast.  Plus, we have another BBros Shout Out!
