Fast and Loose or Unprepared? We'll let you be the judge.

A little casual convo between the boys after the post draft hype has died down.  A lot of surprising facts about age. Lots of talk about wide receivers who could be ready to break out. Want thoughts on that RB10-20 group? We got em.  Lots of good talk on some smaller details. You can use it for drumming up some post draft trades or for pre start up drafts. Enjoy.  As always get ahold of us @dynastymodepod on all social media and dynastymodepod@gmail.com

    Super2QBFlex League Post Draft Shakedown

Top to bottom coverage of the 2021 NFL Draft for Dynasty Fantasy Football. We hit on all levels at all the positions. The audio ends a little abruptly but not worth redoing just know you don't miss anything. Also, a little bit of the wording in the outline we work from made a question asked a bit confusing. If you read all this it'll make sense when you hear it.  Hit us up at dynastymodepod@gmail.com and social media @dynastymodepod. We hope you're just as excited about the upcoming season as us!

    Pulling Back the Curtain

This is a repeat of part of one of the podcasts from last season.  We were lucky enough to get Daniel Adler, current Minnesota Twins assistant general manager and former Jacksonville Jaguars Director of Football research, to talk with us.  He took questions about dynasty fantasy football and answered them with information on how he has operated with real professional sports teams. A few dated references in here but the meat and potatoes of it will always be relevant. Given that everyone is looking for an advantage to win their upcoming drafts it felt like a good time to share this again.  If you like it please like, subscribe, and interact with us on social media @dynastymodepod and dynastymodepod@gmail.com.  We will have our post-draft pod out to you Monday morning!

    Pre Draft Rankings

Welcome back! The first podcast is our predraft rankings.  Dave, Mike, and Kevin discuss all the major players in this year's 2021 NFL Draft.  We have a serious discussion where we are split three ways about who the 1.01 should be in non-Superflex leagues.  Let us help you make your choice between JaMarr Chase, Kyle Pitts, and Najee Harris. Trevor Lawrence is the clear-cut number one amongst us but then it gets a little hazy. Do we like the monster arm of Zach Wilson, the total package of Justin Fields, the game manager Mac Jones and the raw potential of Trey Lance? We talk about the big three running backs of Harris, Travis Etienne, and Javonte Williams.  After that, we discuss a few in the second tier.  We discuss the tight end a little more in-depth than just Kyle Pitts giving thoughts on players like Pat Freiermuth and Brevin Jordan. Lastly, we talk about another absolutely stacked wide receiver class.  Which Alabama star are we higher on, Devonta Smith or Jaylen Waddle? After the clear-cut top three, we love players like Rashod Bateman, Elijah Moore, and a few deep sleepers.  Let us know what you want to hear on the pod this upcoming season @dynastymodepod on social media and dynastymodepod@gmail.com.  Please like, subscribe, and tell a friend.

    Full squad making hot takes

Congrats to everyone who has made their championship. For everyone else Dave, Kevin, and Mike are joined by NESN's Doug Kyed to begin looking at 2021 for you.  Is it way too early to do this? Absolutely. Does is stop us from making hot takes? NO WAY. - Who are the multiple second year wide receivers we see making massive leaps? - What incoming rookie do we project to land immediately in the top 3 at their position? - What big time rookie is referred to as Chad Pennington 2.0? - Two people predict a big time bounce back by someone who has probably burned you three times already. - Using some clever math there is a running back who may get more targets than CMC did in 2019, one of us predicts him to be a top 5 RB next year. - What QB solidifies himself as top 12 player because of being coached up? - What can't miss WR prospect is labeled a bust? This one is for the losers

This quick one is for everyone who didn't make it into the playoffs.  While your league mates are going for the championship it's time for some of you to be thinking of the 2022 championship.  We discuss tearing it all down, where to start the rebuild, the common mistakes people make, and more.  If you're deadset on having some name players on your team we discuss a few we like to build around.   If you're thinking about next year now you're already ahead of the rest of your league!

    The dogs stayed surprisingly calm

The dynasty spin on looking at your fantasy playoffs. Dave plays through the pain of Covid-19 to discuss the next three weeks of the season with Mike.  We discuss some players who you may be considering for your starting line ups and whether or not we like them for the playoffs and the long term.  This was recorded before Christian McCaffrey was all but ruled out for Week 14 otherwise we would have discussed Mike Davis.  I'll say here that I feel ok about flexing Mike Davis but only ok.  If you're wondering to ride the wave of Kirk Cousins, Jarvis Landry or if Joe Burrow's injury makes us like Tyler Boyd less you'll find it out here.  Use these last 3 weeks to audition players for hold and sell for next season too.  As always we'd love to hear from you at dynastymodepod@gmail.com or @dynastymodepod on twitter or Instagram.

Where do you stand on Donovan People-Jones?

For some of our listeners it's sadly time to look into the future. We give you a look into the Dynasty Mode crystal ball by telling you who the most overrated and underrated player on every team is. This way you can under pay for great talent and sell overrated players for the big bucks.  When you win next year we'll set up a patron for you to give us some of your winnings.
