S2 - Episode 1 Why we started this Podcast

To kick off Season 2 of the SommWhat Podcast we decided to dive into why and how we got started in our podcast. People start podcasts for many reasons. Our reason is pretty simple. We wanted to start learning more about the wine we were drinking while enjoying some good conversations. In this episode we talk about the one car ride we took that led us to this starting down the journey of having our very own podcast.

Welcome to the SommWhat Podcast! We are just two sisters who love wine and a good conversation who figured "Wine" not hit the record button! Every episode we drink our way, one bottle at a time, towards becoming unofficial Sommeliers, a fancy way of saying wine experts! This podcast is all about helping the average wine drinker become a bit more knowledgeable about the wine they are drinking as well as help them discover their likes and dislikes as we are your Virtual Taste Testers! Each episode we open a new bottle and discuss not only the wine itself, but the place it came from, the year it was produced, and so much more! Unlike the wine we are drinking, our conversations are unfiltered! So grab a glass and join us as we travel through the world of wine!
