Today she enjoys music, drinking bougie water and flying kites while watching sunsets on a warm and quiet beach. She is a retired licensed massage therapist and former owner of a massage and wellness center in Washington state. She journals and writes poetry in her quiet, more rational moments. She delights in soothing wounded minds that have been scorned, torn, and beat up by the supposedly sound who hold the reins of sanity who are in fact everything but sane! Tune in and join the conversation!The Bible verse I quoted, 2 Timothy 1:7 says “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (NKJV) or “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline” (NIV) or “For God gave us a Spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control” (ESV). Note three different meanings based in differing translations. This is why we must be discerning when studying and reading the Bible, it has been translated so many times by many imperfect humans.
