Women's Health Revolution: How Muji Bekomson Is Mothering a New System Into Existence

"She didn't wait for the system to catch up. She built a new one." In this episode of our May series, She Who Mothers: Redefining Legacy, Love & Lineage, host Deneen L. Garrett sits down with Muji Bekomson — Medical Laboratory Scientist, Founder of FEMME Health Companion, and Top 50 Voice in African Tech — to explore what happens when a woman stops waiting to be heard and starts building what should have existed all along. She Lost Her Mom at 6: Healing Grief & Spiritual Awakening | Rima Desai, Part 1

What happens when a child grows up carrying grief she has no language for — and discovers at age 12 that she can read minds? In Part 1 of this two-part conversation, Rima Desai — transformational life coach, spiritual healer, and Masters-trained counseling psychologist — takes us all the way back. Born in Mumbai, India, Rima lost her mother at age 6 in a moment that shattered her entire world. She grew up in a home heavy with silence, in a culture where grief was never spoken aloud — and where emotions had no name. She spent years functioning alongside that pain, not through it. And yet, something else was stirring. By age 12, Rima was reading minds and predicting events. By her early twenties, she was navigating a Master's program in Psychology and still couldn't complete the sentence "I feel." And then — through a series of divine redirects she didn't plan — she ended up in a small countryside city in Tanzania, East Africa. A place she had dreamed about since childhood. A place she fell deeply in love with. A place her daughter's soul eventually called her away from. In this episode, we explore: · The Weight of Silent Grief — losing a parent in a culture that has no framework for emotional processing · The Gift of Intuition — how Rima's spiritual gifts emerged as companionship in her loneliest years · Destiny in Tanzania — the unexpected journey that took her to the land she'd watched on cassette tapes as a child · The Power of Surrender — learning to trust a divine plan when your own plans disappear without a trace Part 1 is the story. Part 2 is the work. You'll want both. Come back June 15th for part 2.
