    6 ways to deal with overwhelm as an entrepreneur

    Entrepreneurs are inherently more "busy"... we have to do everything in our own businesses and even some of us who have team members still feel called to put our little paws on everything. Overwhelm ususally comes as a result of the lack of planning. At least for me it does... also lets go ahead and throw on the tendency to take on too much. We say yes a lot thinking it will get us further ahead when in reality depending on what you're saying yes to it could be setting you back on your quest for success. (RE listen to the episode on saying no) So these steps may help you as they have helped me when I'm feeling overwhelmed in my business. Grab a pen and paper and write it all down. Re-write your goals. You are going to make a list of your goals for the next 3 months. Take time to focus on the process not the outcome. Stop multitasking. Stop adding more ideas to your list.     How to say no to a client or a project

    Saying yes to projects that just don't suit you are going to end up wearing on your mental health. Feeling like you are only working for the money can make you only focus on the money. When you are only focusing on money you can easily slip into a "I'm not getting paid enough for this" You may begin to dread the project, put it off and deliver a bad product Overall if you know going in that a project isn't what you want or a client isn't what you want then save yourself and say no. It's not going to put off a bad vibe into the world that you don't want work. Instead, be upfront with the client and let me know you're not up for it.     How to Use Digital Products & Using Pinterest to Promote Them

    Today Rose & I went live to talk about promoting small digital products (with Pinterest) and what it takes to make that happen. My number one suggestion across the board for everyone just starting to build funnels is to start small and simple. You don't need fancy software or funnel builders... I suggest starting with a way to build pretty & mobile responsive pages, a cart & an email service provider. I started using LeadPages & still use those for all my page builds. They're fast and mobile optimized which is why I use them. I have always used ConvertKit and will continue to do so. The only thing for me that has changed is my cart. I started with SendOwl for $9 per month, moved to WooCommerce and eventually settled on AccessAlly. Don't overthink it! Before you ever start you need to start getting to know your customers pain points and behavior. I walk all of my clients through a process of figuring out those pains as they pertain to the product you want to create. This needs to happen before you ever spend time creating a product or funnel... because it might now work and you need to know at least some of what your customer needs.
