Alpha Bravo Charlie - The Alphabetical Wilco Podcast

I committed to this podcast recently as a result of spending way more time in the car and it’s been nice to get new insight into the band and many of the songs. Listening to other guys talk about Wilco isn’t as good as talking about Wilco…but I’ll take it. Kudos for having the ambition and seeing it through, even the Wilco Book, which I would have forgiven you for omitting, but don’t tell Jeff I said that.

Guess what! They played it live at Sky Blue Sky 2022, in Cancun. And Jeff even noted at the end that it had never been played live till that night. I’ve listened to every episode and appreciate all your dedication and hard work!

This is one of my favorite shows. Both hosts bring a love of Wilco to the show and I am alwasy looking forward to each new episode.

Any chance to hear more Wilco music and learn more about all things Wilco deserves a 5-star rating. I love the effort and opportunity to geek out on this band. That being said, I don’t always agree with their opining of certain songs and albums. Almost infuriating at times, I wish they could get over the fact that the band has developed and changed over the years. Yes, YHF is the quintessential album, and yes, everyone loved Bob Dylan the folk singer. But Bob Dylan wanted to play electric guitar blues and, yes, Wilco the album happened, too. Artists tinker and experiment. It goes with the territory. But I digress. The podcast is still worth the time, from someone who loves ALL things Wilco.
