Who doesn't love to sit down and have a good conversation with someone. Just a Good Conversation host Matt Brown plans on doing just that as he sits down and talks to creatives, coaches, business owners and more. All with the intention of giving you a little inset into their world and learn a little. Nothing is really off limit as long as it's a good conversation.

    Just a Good Conversation: Andrew Hancock

    Andrew Hancock holds a degree in journalism from Texas A&M University and is an alumnus of the Eddie Adams Workshop (2006). With a belief in diverse clients and diverse interests, he embraces new media and technology with vigor and is comfortable shooting stills or video to accomplish any visual need required from an assignment or project. Hancock began his career in photojournalism and brings that storytelling approach with him on any project, whether it is a portrait, event or commercial shoot. Every image, still or motion, must tell a story. He was a contributing photographer to Sports Illustrated magazine and his photos have appeared throughout the entire SI portfolio including SI Kids, SI Latino, SI China, SI.com and in two books, The Covers and SI Kids - All Access. Hancock's photos have also appeared in premier magazines such as TIME, People, Cosmopolitan, Stern and Golf magazine, virtually every major market newspaper within the United States; his work has also appeared on ABC News, CBS.com and CNN.com. Hancock is known for his enthusiasm to take on any challenge. This enthusiasm—paired with his low maintenance and self-sufficient approach to produce engaging photographs—has led to a rapidly expanding client base that over his young career has grown to include editorial clients like The New York Times, Associated Press and USA Today as well as event coverage for clients like NCAA Photos. On the academic front, schools such as Texas A&M University, University of Texas, Purdue University and the University of Tennessee have counted on Hancock to deliver unique and engaging imagery to elevate their visual brand for both athletics and academics across their various properties and platforms, resulting in many awards for his work.     Just a Good Conversation: Vincent Versace

    Vincent Versace is an American photographer and a Nikon Ambassador. He is a recipient of the Computerworld Smithsonian Award in Media Arts & Entertainment. His work is part of the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History. At age seven, Vincent was introduced to photography and the darkroom by his uncle, a wedding photographer. Vincent saved his allowance to purchase a Nikon rangefinder at a garage sale and, at the age of nine, he sold his first photo to a local newspaper for $50. In high school, Vincent followed in his uncle's footsteps and photographed weddings. He has published three books on photography. His first book was  Welcome to Oz: A Cinematic Approach to Digital Still Photography with Photoshop and named as one of the top digital books of 2007 by Shutterbug Magazine. The second book, Welcome to Oz 2.0, a complete rewrite of his first to include the science of focus and blur, and ExDR. His third book, From Oz to Kansas: Almost Every Black & White Technique Known to Mankind, was published in 2012.     Just a Good Conversation: Zack Knudsen

    Zack Knudsen started his career in theatre after college. For 6 years he worked in HR in Dollywood. Yes, HR! Not your normal path to become a professional photographer. He found great mentors who showed him photography. He did photography for the HR department at Dollywood. That certainly fueled his fire to pursue a career in photography. Zack found himself in his HR manager office and quitting his job and going all-in as a photographer. His wife who is a rock star backed the move and they were off and snapping. Concert photography became his landed spot and he now finds himself working full time for Drake White. He's a in a happy place and loving every second of it.     Lee Dumond is a YouTube personality and woodworker. Lee hosts the Busted Knuckle Woodworks YouTube channel. He also does custom woodworking, cabinetry, and build handmade indoor and outdoor furniture in Austin, Texas, USA. he posts build videos, gives tips and tricks, tool reviews, and has lots of fun. Not bad for guy who's worked all over the US in some unbelievable fields, software engineer, web developer and sound engineer.     Just a Good Conversation: Mark Cornelison

    Mark Cornelison was a photojournalist for 30+ years before switching gears to vintage photography. Mark always took pride of his photojournalist training in that news photographers have to go into every situation and make a photo. They can't say it was too dark, or too rainy, or other excuses. Just make a good photo. Mark still hold onto that feeling as he has moved more into the vintage photography techniques. Music, Sports, and Portraits were always strong points of my portfolio and now he has learned new ways to present them. Most recently Mark have learned the art of Wet Plate Collodion photography, a process from the 1850's going back to Civil War times.     Just a Good Conversation: Sonja Ulrich

    Forty years after the dramatic 1985 collapse of the Rajneeshpuram commune in Oregon. Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh movement persists in a decentralized form, primarily through the OSHO International Meditation Resort in Pune, India, and numerous centers worldwide. Sonja Ulrich lived in the cult from age 12 to 17 years old. Sonja has been a professor at California State University, Dominguez Hills for 10 years teaching in the Anthropology department.

    Just a Good Conversation: The Enriquez Sisters

    The Enriquez Sisters! The ladies from Whittier Susie, Jeanine and Antoinette. I'd had brothers growing up and the world of sisters is very foreign to me. They had two older half brothers from their mother's previous marriage. Susie would be the middle child, Jeanine the tom boy and Antoinette was the baby of the family. A grow up in a middle class family in Southern California, working father and a stay at home mother who busted her butt keeping the house together. They survived a major car crash, that almost took their lives and lived doors away from were Richard Ramirez "Night Stalker" killed their neighbors. At times the worked the same jobs together and terrorized the boys in their neighborhood. I would marry Antionette and get two great sisters-in-laws.

    Just a Good Conversation: Simon Bruty

    Originally from the U.K., Simon Bruty now lives in Washington D.C. During his career, Simon has traveled extensively to work on large sporting events such as World Cup Soccer, Super Bowls, and the Olympics. His feature stories are as diverse as golfers in Greenland, soccer in Zambia, and badminton in Indonesia. Somewhere along the way Simon learned how to make people sit still and has created portraits of some of today's most memorable athletes. His editorial and commercial clients include the International Olympic Committee, Sports Illustrated, the All England Lawn and Tennis Club, ESPN, and Canon. He received a Lucie Award in 2016 for Achievement in Sports Photography. He has also received awards from the World Press Foundation, Pictures of the Year, and the International Olympic Committee. The London Observer chose one of Simon's photographs to be included in their list of the World's 50 Greatest Sports Photographs.
