    New Religion Pt 1

New Religion is a heartfelt message about religion, relationship, rules, and responsibility. Opinions are overrated and I did my best to share the third side of the story; The Truth!    Beliefs dictate behavior. It's time for us to be aware of our behaviors to develop more respect and responsibility.    Let your curiosities precede your conclusions.   Allow me to be voice of reason instead of the Devil's advocate.

    Cheers to Transparency

June 17, 1999 marks the day I would’ve been married 23 years. Instead of being embarrassed, I choose to celebrate.  When I got married I thought I was doing it right, but I did it all wrong. In retrospect, I’ve come a long way, and I’m ready to right my wrongs. Looking back on June 17, 1999… • We eloped in Vegas instead of waiting for the wedding • We never received premarital counseling • I thought in order to be the best husband all I had to do was work hard, love hard, and follow God • I barely knew who I was and tried to be the best man I could be • I internalized a lot and my communication was poor • I did it for love and didn’t understand the lifetime partnership • I wanted to change her but didn’t change much • I labeled myself as “damaged goods” after my divorce • I divorced God after my prayers didn’t fix the problems in my marriage • I felt like a failure because I couldn’t save my family • I didn’t love them hoes but I liked the way they made me feel • I hurt a lot of hearts searching for the unadulterated love I once had • I didn’t talk to my kids about how I push through the pain. They were hurting too I’m going to celebrate this day because… • I’ve forgiven myself • I trust God regardless • I invest to appreciate who I am • I overstand how I feel • Less is in lessons and blessings • I’m a grown ass mature man • I’ll elevate my future (life, business, and accountability) partner WIFEY • My status isn’t stapled • I have peace, joy, and wisdom • My past was a process and not a problem • I’ll never get divorced again • Love’s in need of love today and I got mad love to give

    Cheers to Transparency

    The Secrets to Motivation

Are you struggling with staying motivated? I know I did.  The pandemic has rusted some of our successful behaviors because we had the opportunity to "hide" for a while. We typically perform better when eyes are watching us, but many of us are working from home or "slowly" working on our personal goals, and some of us lost our mojo. Listen to the seven secrets to get you back on track and motivate yourself. No one is coming to save us! Who motivates the motivator?  Discipline and consistency are strong factors to reactivate motivation, but when you lack those critical behaviors, you have to know how to dig deep and find what motivates you.  You'll save tons of money and time trying to find out what motivates you because I provide the secrets the pro's use to get you going.

    Breaking Barriers

Oftentimes in leadership, we’re given the authority to seek out problems in DEI but lack the permission and knowledge needed to create effective change in building a culture of inclusion. Tune in to hear this informative episode about breaking barriers we’re challenged with in diversity, equity, and inclusion training. You’ll discover strategies to build trusting relationships, be an authentic leader, and apply simple communication strategies in the workplace.

    A WHOLE NEW WORLD

Are we living in the best of times? A lot has changed since I was a child, and I wanted to share this new world with us all. It's time to look at the big picture. The world has definitely changed. What are we doing to adapt? Things around us aren't getting better, but that's no excuse for us not to become a better version of ourselves.  A whole new world A rude awakening point of view Everyone wants to tell us NO Restrictions on where to go And to say the "woke" are only dreaming A whole new world A dismal place I never knew But when I place myself way up here It becomes crystal clear That now I'm in a whole new world with you
