Mixtape Vol. #6: Center HS Youth – Future Town 2045

What might a thriving San Luis Valley look like in 2045? In this special Mixtape collaboration, ten young people from Center, Colorado share stories, reflections, and visions for a future rooted in wellness, culture, connection, and care for the land. Created through a partnership between the Center Vikings Youth Club, Boys & Girls Club of the San Luis Valley, Sweetgrass Therapeutics, YEBO, and Future Town Tour/Warm Cookies of the Revolution, this project combines embodied wellness practices, creative writing, and media making to help youth reflect on the present while imagining the future they hope to build. Inspired by conversations about nature, community, mental health, and belonging, this episode invites listeners to consider the future we're creating together. Arranged & Produced by Adrian H. Mixtape Vol. #6: Boys & Girls Club of San Luis Valley

Welcome to Mission 1477, YEBO’s statewide storytelling initiative centering and celebrating the voices of people in our communities. The theme of this Mixtape is The Valley — stories from the San Luis Valley, CO. This installment was created alongside the Boys & Girls Club of the San Luis Valley and recorded live at their Alamosa Club site. Their commitment to helping young people grow into confident, caring, and responsible leaders aligns naturally with YEBO’s belief that every voice carries strength and history. In this episode, four storytellers share moments of growth, grounding, and generosity — stories shaped by family, friendship, faith, and the vast landscape they call home.
