    Artist / Angler Carey Chen

    Marine artist Carey Chen never took an art class. He simply picked up a pencil and then a paint brush and began to sketch and paint fish and marine scenes on canvas. For the past few decades, Carey has traveled all over the world, fishing tournaments, meeting fellow anglers and experiencing new fisheries. He is an expert billfish angler and his true love is catching big marlin. However, if there's a fish biting, odds are Carey will be one of the first anglers who tries to catch it. He spent his youth in Jamaica and Miami, where his love of fishing originated. Always an adrenaline junkie, he raced motorcycles for years. His father was a well-known promoter and Carey never knew who may be hanging out at the family home, from Frank Sinatra to Muhammad Ali.     Krissy Wejebe

    As the host of the television show Spanish Fly, Jose Wejebe reached thousands of anglers but he was more than a TV personality. He was an inspiration, creating a passion for fishing, boating, conservation and the ocean lifestyle that he so loved. Through his show and his adventures, Jose shared his passion for fishing and a lifestyle that touched and inspired anglers around the world. At the same time, Jose encouraged conservation, leading his viewers by example to take better care of the environment they so enjoy. Wejebe died on April 6, 2012, in a plane crash. Soon after his death, Jose's daughter Krissy and several of his close friends created the Jose Wejebe Memorial Foundation to continue his work to protect the marine environment, support those facing life-impacting challenges and inspire a future generation of anglers. Krissy Wejebe joins the Anglers Journal Podcast to talk about her father's upbringing, his impact on the fishing world and the reboot of the Spanish Fly television show.     Cory and Derek Redwine

    Anglers, artists, conservationists, do-gooders... Cory and Derek Redwine are all of those things, but most of all they are lovers of the ocean and all of the critters that live within it. And the beauty of this couple is they have always found a way to combine their passion for the water into a fulfilling career. Their most recent work involves habitat restoration throughout their home waters in Merritt Island, Florida, and beyond, replanting mangroves and putting hundreds of thousands of clams in the water.     Northern Pike Adventure

    We head to Brabant Lodge located on the Mackenzie River on the outflow of Great Slave Lake in the Northwest Territories of Canada in search of world-record size northern pike. The fishing does not disappoint with hundreds of pike tallied over the trip, including several fish over 20 pounds. These fish are aggressive, angry and fight like hell.     Terry Robinson's Bluewater Life

    Terry Robinson grew up with the offshore fishing world right out his bedroom window. He lived at his parent's marina in New Jersey, which for a kid who loved to fish, was the ultimate playground. At a young age, he began working on boats and became a sought-after deckhand. As his reputation grew, so did the opportunities. He was given the chance of a lifetime and went to work aboard Don Tyson's fishing boat / mothership operation known as Tyson's Pride. He started as a mate, targeting blue and black marlin all over the world. He then became the captain of Tyson's Pride, a position he held for 20 or so years. After fishing all over the world, he transitioned his career to Bass Pro and has worked (and fished) alongside Johnny Morris, helping the brand build its saltwater lineup and most recently, revitalize Hatteras Yachts.     George Poveromo

    George Poveromo grew up fishing and boating in South Florida and turned his passion into a career that spans four decades. He first began writing for Salt Water Sportsman in the early '80s and has covered all types of fishing. He is an expert communicator when it comes to helping anglers improve their game by sharing tips and techniques. For the last 38 years, he has traveled the country, talking to anglers via the Salt Water Seminar Series and his television show, George Poveromo's World of Salt Water fishing is now in its 26th year.
