A lot of us got trained to think we were special because we fit the dumb-ass rubrics of what "special" was supposed to mean. Straight As. Good pictures. The right credentials. Somebody in authority patting us on the head. And look, the accomplishments are real. Nobody's dissing awesome achievements! Mellissa was a Stanford-educated lawyer before her big accidental awakening, before she fell into the gifts that made her an energy healer, seer, and guide for people. She didn't think any of this woo was real until it happened to her. But the law degree was not the real specialty. The real specialty was something underneath all of it. Something intrinsic.
