Women make up more than half of the population, and it's time that our voices are heard. She is Enough is designed to share the stories, strategies, frustrations, and joys of being a women in today's world. We'll take a hard, honest look at things like productivity, work-life balance, and dealing with unconscious bias, among other things. Because you are not alone. And you are enough.

    Do It For the Joy

    Goals, goals, goals. They're everywhere. And they're great!  But as a society we seem to have lost our ability to do something simply because....we want to! Don't quite know yet what you want to do? Don't have a clear picture of the end? Want to do something that seems silly, or you can't explain to others so you keep putting it off in favor of doing those things that "move you forward"? Stop. Do it for the joy.

    Speak Up!

    Why is it so scary and so important to let our voices be heard? To speak up, first we need to believe that we need to. It's easy to believe that it doesn't matter, or that we are doing just fine if we don't. But not speaking up and letting your voice be heard is not only bad for your mental health, but it limits creativity and problem-solving and worse...it spreads and encourages others to keep quiet as well. You are a beautiful, strong, smart woman. You deserve to be heard!

    Vulnerability as a Leadership Superpower

    Who doesn't want superpowers? If I had a superpower, it would be to control the weather. Unfortunately, that's probably not in the cards for me. But the good news is, anyone in leadership or anyone who wants to connect more with others already has a powerful capability right now - being vulnerable. And the even better news for women is that women generally have more tendencies towards allowing themselves to be vulnerable, and that can make them incredible leaders. We often think of leaders or bosses as cold and distant - standing apart with all of the answers. But most of us don't have the answers. I'm not saying turn into an emotional puddle at work. Boundaries are always important. But if you want to gain a better community at work, build more trust with those around you, and have a powerful force for good on your side, learning to be vulnerable is a great place to start.
