From being the 'Black sheep' of the family to the Spiritual Alchemist'

Send a text For decades we have used the term 'The Black Sheep' of the family which stipulates and implies that there is something 'wrong' with us, something 'unjust' about us, we are outcast by society for a variety of reasons. We are taunted and haunted by old ghosts of a life we once knew but can no longer access; whether that be access to our blood family or friends. One way or another; we have been shunned and ostracised by society and thrown out of our familiar culture or home. We endure and suffer from unbearable pain. We often think we are alone. We search for families, the familiar of a family or home that we yearn to belong to only we don't fully and trully understand this has been our journey all along. We don't fully understand that we are going through a metamorphosis stage. We fully understand with unconditional empathy what it is like to rejected, ghosted, disliked and rejected by the very people who are supposed to love us; but in the end don't. We finally go through fixing, fixing, fixing trying to heal our inner wounded child and not realising we need to really heal and break free from our wounded and bleeding patterns of behaviour. We help and support others instead. We come from a place of love, support and kindness and the most important thing we can provide others is our time. We realise we were not alone on our journey. This was not rejection. This was a much needed redirection. A redirection back to our inner true self; because without it we could not help those around us in the same wounded state of ourselves. Here's the beauty of this journey. You are the ancestor that everyone yearned for. You are the healer, the speaker of truth 'bombs and facts'. You don't mix your words lightly, you can spot a narcissist a mile off! You can sense toxic energy within arm's distance because your soul's vibration and frequency does not like their misaligned energy which is masking as a 'great person' when in fact they are a consumer and user; a leach. You continue to shine despite the obstacles and hurdles in life. You know you have a bigger purpose, one that is not from a place of ego but a place of love and helping the planet be more aligned to finding and aligning with your true soul tribe. This is when you realise that you have been the 'legend', the 'goat' - 'greatest of all time' and more importantly the spiritual alchemist that your ancestors have been crying out for all this time.  Tune in to my podcast to learn more. 2. My first job and how it changed me and the community around me.

My first job and how it changed me and the community around me.

Send a text This was a video podcast I did several years ago and I felt it was important to have it recorded as an audio podcast.           When I was aged 18 years old I had sadly failed my A-Levels and found myself in a very difficult position of having to resit and redo my whole A-Levels again. I had missed years of school on and off due to being in and out of hospital since the age of ten facing some paralysis and various health issues to my left leg without a real diagnosis much later on in my life. Ironically doing my GCSEs was a breeze despite missing so much school and I outshined my male cousins in comparison but not when it came to the A-Levels.          Due to this reason, I pestered my strict Muslim Pathan father permission to apply for a job. This might seem 'normal' to some of you but back in those days Asian women did not, I repeat did not work! After much persuasion he finally allowed me to apply for a job and none of us thought anything of it since I applied many, and I mean many months ago. That is, till I got that home phone call that would change my life and the people around me in ways I hadn't imagined.           My dearest mother broke the rules that day and gave me the 30-pence bus fair to allow me to go to the huge shopping centre that had only just opened up in 1990. I recall seeing the demolishing of East Hecla Works of Hadfields Ltd as Meadowhall became the first largest shopping Mall within the United Kingdom. Little did I imagine that I would end up working there as the first person of colour, let alone as a Disabled Muslim female who was from a Pathan background.      The job not only changed me, but it changed many people in the community around me.
