8-23-26: Who Will We Be While We Wait?

What do we do when the familiar changes and the path forward is unclear? That is the question at the heart of this powerful message drawn from Acts 2:1-13. From the Garden of Eden where Adam and Eve stood naked without shame, to their immediate response of hiding after sin entered the world, we see that shame was the first casualty of the fall. Shame, however, declares we are wrong, transforming our identity from beloved children into failures. This distinction is life-changing. 6-28-26: When the Book Was Opened

As we stand on the threshold of celebrating 250 years of American independence, we're confronted with a profound question: what truly preserves a nation? The answer lies not in military might, economic prosperity, or political power, but in something far more foundational. Nehemiah chapter 8 reveals a stunning moment in Israel's history when the walls of Jerusalem had been rebuilt, yet something far more critical remained broken: the hearts of God's people. After 70 years of exile and captivity, the physical infrastructure was restored, but spiritual renewal was desperately needed. This passage shows us that revival doesn't begin with better circumstances or stronger leadership; it begins when God's people return to God's Word. We witness an extraordinary scene where thousands gathered at the Water Gate, standing for six hours as Ezra read from the Book of the Law.
