85. The Escort Mission
Things are quiet as the Opal Star helps escort the Goliath to the Nova Station outpost, allowing the party some time to work on personal projects and enjoy some downtime.
We finally meet Lex, who informs Spectra that Vae might be a cybermancer. Spectra promises to help Vae get a hang of those abilities.
Then they decide to pull the ghostship gambit to lure out the mystery ship that has been following them through a very empty stretch of space.

Good Clean Fun
If you are sometimes dubious of why small bands of supposedly cynical and suspicious adventurers bond super quickly and start wreaking havoc immediately , you might enjoy ATOS. The players and characters take time developing their characters and the universe through role play, not just saying “I am brave/loyal/sneaky/unpredictable...”. Also, soooo many TTRPG podcasts have a fair amount of body humor/swearing, that this is a nice break from that. They are definitely not “murder hobos” either. Just a group of folks whose lives suddenly become intertwined and much much different than they were trying to make the best of things.
Adventure beckons
I love the music choices in this podcast, which feel like a classic rendition of the space opera genre. The characters all have interesting backgrounds, and the GM has a collaborative play style that I greatly enjoy.
Fun for everybody
The Crew of the Opal Star is a wonderful group of folx. There are laughs, intrigue, and action. If you enjoy intriguing storylines, this is the one for you! Check them out.
Also, Anima is the best.
