Pinks Are the New Black
Kate Warne might not be a name that you‘re familiar with, but without her, this country would look very different. Certainly, there might not even be a ”United” States at all. She's been called several names and been the inspiration for even more. Her name was Khutulun, and she lived her life on her own terms. Not bad for a woman from the late 13th Century living in the Mongol Empire. Men challenged her for the right to marry her, but none succeeded. Absolutely Fantastic!
This podcast is great! The episodes or short, so if I zone out (which happens a lot) I don't feel like I've missed out on a huge chunk of the episode. That also helps with backtracking to where I left off. Aidan Mayne's delivery is really engaging and easy to listen to. Plus, his topics so far have all been really fascinating! I love the use of different quotes in each episode. I'm really looking forward to listening more!
