A space for the inner world. For the deep feelers, the dreamers, the women in the middle of becoming, and the women quietly trying to find their way back to themselves. Life asks a lot of us.We carry relationships, responsibilities, motherhood, work, grief, growth, ambition, healing, joy and everything in between. Somewhere along the way, it can be easy to lose sight of ourselves beneath the noise. Muse Haus was created as the place I spent years looking for myself. A space for thoughtful conversations, honest reflections and meaningful reminders of what truly matters. Each week, I'll share stories, essays and conversations exploring identity, relationships, motherhood, leadership, power, capacity, healing and the lifelong journey of remembering who we are. Not because you need fixing. Not because you need to become someone else. But because sometimes we all need a place to pause long enough to hear our own voice again. Maybe you're listening on a walk.Maybe you're sitting in the car for five extra minutes before heading inside.Maybe you're folding washing, driving to work, drinking your morning coffee, or finally finding a quiet moment at the end of a long day. However you've found your way here, I'm glad you did.Because this isn't a podcast about having all the answers. It's a space for asking better questions. For making sense of the seasons you've lived through. For reconnecting with yourself beneath the roles, expectations and pressure of everyday life. A space where all of you is welcome. The grieving parts. The growing parts. The hopeful parts. The messy parts. The parts still finding their way.Get comfortable. And stay for a while.Welcome to Muse Haus.

    Reason, Season or a Lifetime

Some people arrive for a reason. Some stay for a season. And a rare few seem to find a way to meet us through many versions of a lifetime. But perhaps the wisdom was never in knowing which one is which. In this episode, Tara returns to an idea she first pinned to the back of her bedroom door as a teenager and explores what it has taken decades to actually understand. Through friendship, endings, wound buddies, changing chemistry, repair and the relationships we sometimes try desperately to make last, this is a conversation about loving people without gripping them, taking responsibility without carrying what isn't ours, and recognising when understanding someone has become a reason to abandon ourselves. Because not every rupture means leave. Not every ending needs a villain. Not every relationship that changes was a mistake. And not everyone who mattered was meant to stay. Sometimes relationships repair. Sometimes they change shape. Sometimes they complete. And sometimes the deepest work isn't convincing someone else to understand what happened — it's becoming willing to trust what you already know. An honest conversation about impermanence, discernment, self-responsibility, friendship, grief and the freedom of allowing something to have been real, beautiful and important without requiring it to last forever. Maybe it mattered. Maybe it changed you. And maybe you can let it go. Connect with MUSE HAUS & Tara Lee - @musehausco | @taralee_co Connect with Tara: Facebook Instagram

    The Women we Become Around

Some of the greatest loves of our lives are women. And sometimes, some of our greatest lessons are too. In this episode, Tara explores the complicated, beautiful and sometimes painful world of female friendship from girlhood and the motherline to adult friendships, business, Bali, envy, empowerment and the women we become beside one another. Because the women we keep close matter. They can shape what we believe is normal, what we question about ourselves, how freely we take up space, and whether our light is something to celebrate or something we slowly learn to dim. This is a conversation about inspiration and competition. Shadow and projection. Being needed versus being loved. The women who genuinely celebrate our expansion, the relationships that become one-sided, and the uncomfortable places our own wounds can keep us participating. Because not everyone who isn't your person is a villain. But some relationships aren't safe. Some people become comfortable receiving what we continually make available. And sometimes the most important work isn't figuring out why someone behaves the way they do it's becoming responsible for what we do with what we now know. This isn't about becoming suspicious of women. It's about becoming more conscious within our relationships with them. About recognising our own shadows without carrying someone else's. About noticing envy without shame. About repairing when repair is possible. Changing proximity when it isn't. And becoming the kind of woman who can stand beside another woman's light without needing to diminish hers or extinguish our own. Because perhaps we were never meant to compete over who shines brightest. We were meant to gather around the fire. The Women We Become Around A conversation about female friendship, envy, shadow, self-responsibility, proximity and knowing your people. The Slow Art of Abandoning Yourself

There are moments in life that change everything. But more often...Life changes quietly. One small compromise at a time. One conversation we don't have. One boundary we don't hold. One feeling we convince ourselves isn't that important. Until one day we wake up and wonder how we ended up feeling so disconnected from ourselves. In this episode, Tara explores the quiet, often invisible ways we abandon ourselves, not through dramatic moments, but through the tiny acts of self-betrayal that slowly become our normal. Through deeply personal stories of friendship, business, relationships and rebuilding, alongside reflections on the nervous system, intuition and the roles we learn to play to feel loved and safe, she invites us to consider a different question. What if healing isn't about becoming someone new? What if it's about remembering the woman who has been there all along? This is a conversation about self-trust. About listening before your body has to scream. About understanding why we leave ourselves—and how we gently find our way home again. If you've ever ignored your intuition, stayed too long, explained yourself too much, or felt like you've lost sight of who you are beneath all the roles you've carried... This episode is your invitation to come home. Not all at once. But one small act of self-loyalty at a time. If this conversation resonated with you, I'd love for you to share it with someone who might need this reminder too. What you have been pretending not to know

There comes a moment in every woman's life when she realises she wasn't fooled because she was weak. She was fooled because she was hopeful. In this episode of Muse Haus, Tara explores the quiet ways we ignore what we already know to be true. Through reflections on humility, discernment, childhood memories of The Smurfs and the rose-coloured glasses many of us unknowingly wear, she unpacks why we so often see people for who we hope they'll become, rather than who they consistently show us they are. This is a conversation about self-trust. About the stories we tell ourselves. About the difference between curiosity and judgement, compassion and self-abandonment, words and patterns. Because time has a remarkable way of revealing what charm, performance and promises never can. If you've ever stayed too long, explained away what didn't feel right, ignored your intuition, or found yourself grieving not just a relationship, but the version of yourself that kept hoping things would change, this episode is an invitation back to yourself. Because perhaps the hardest truth isn't what other people have been showing you. Perhaps it's what you've been pretending not to know. You don't stop wearing rose-coloured glasses because you stop believing in people. You stop wearing them because you finally start believing yourself. If this conversation resonated with you, I'd love to hear what stayed with you.
