Feel Unforgiveable? Former Latin Kings Leader Who Cursed God Found Christ

What happens when a man who once led in the Latin Kings, cursed God, and carried the weight of gang life encounters the grace of God for himself? In this conversation, my guest shares his journey through gang life, incarceration, anger toward God, forgiveness, obedience, healing, discipleship, and ultimately transformation through Christ. We talk about what it really means to leave your old life behind, why obedience matters in spiritual growth, how God can redeem even the darkest parts of your story, and why discipleship is more than just attending church — it’s doing life together. This conversation is a reminder that your past does not have the final word. In this episode we discuss: Life as a Latin Kings leader Why he cursed God The meaning behind having “Demon” tattooed on his chest Gang life and incarceration Forgiveness and God’s grace Miracles and healing Learning obedience after prison The role of the Holy Spirit in transformation Real discipleship and community Finding purpose after a destructive past Chapters00:00 Introduction01:54 Gang Life and Early Incarceration03:51 Realizing God Had a Bigger Plan07:12 God’s Grace and Forgiveness10:05 A Powerful Encounter With Forgiveness12:53 Obedience and Transformation After Prison17:11 Miracles and Healing in the Hospital22:00 The Power of Daily Obedience27:53 Stepping Out in Faith33:57 Miracles and God’s Healing Power40:13 Discipleship and Organic Ministry50:01 Unity in Ministry and Discipleship54:53 Seeking God Genuinely58:01 Closing Remarks Learn more about my guest and his story here:Amazon page If this testimony encouraged you, share it with someone who feels like their past has disqualified them. Celebrity Converts: Are Christians Expecting Too Much Too Soon?

This conversation is about celebrity converts, new believers, and the expectations Christians place on people after they publicly profess faith in Jesus Christ. When someone gets baptized, says they’ve given their life to Christ, or begins talking openly about their faith, how should the Body of Christ respond? Do we immediately examine every decision they make for evidence of fruit—or should we understand that discipleship, maturity, correction and transformation are a process? In this video, I give my perspective on the difference between extending grace and ignoring sin, why accountability matters, and why being a new believer doesn’t mean someone instantly understands everything about walking with Christ. We’ll talk about: What should we realistically expect from a new believer? How quickly should we expect visible change? What’s the difference between biblical discernment and premature judgment? Why discipleship and Christian community matter after conversion. How should believers respond when a celebrity publicly comes to Christ but still has areas of their life that need growth? Can we recognize fruit while also allowing someone time to mature? The goal isn’t to give celebrities a different Gospel or a different standard. The question is whether we’re giving them the same opportunity to learn, grow, be discipled, be corrected and mature that we would give someone sitting beside us in church. Salvation may happen in a moment. Maturity takes time. Drop your thoughts in the comments: What expectations should Christians have for someone who has just come to Christ?

PRAY THE GAY AWAY? He Asked God to Prove He Was Real

✝️👀‼️The Highlight of Rashad Verme story IS NOT that he went from Gay to Straight.. it's actually how he went from a LIFE OF SIN to having a realRELATIONSHIP with Jesus Christ. On the court, Rashad Verme was a basketball player. Behind closed doors, he says he was living a completely different life—secretly having sex with men while hiding that part of himself from the people around him. For years, Rashad lived what he describes as a double life. But eventually, he reached a moment where he needed an answer to a question bigger than his sexuality: “God, if You’re real, show me.” He says what happened next changed EVERYTHING. In this raw and controversial conversation, Rashad takes us through his journey from early exposure to media that he believes influenced his understanding of sexuality, to secret relationships with men, internal struggles, and ultimately an encounter with the Holy Spirit inside his truck. Rashad says that encounter became the moment he could no longer continue living the same way. He decided to give it all up. The relationships. The sex.The lifestyle. The identity he had embraced. And surrender his life to Jesus Christ. But this episode goes much deeper than sexuality. We talk about the influence entertainment can have on children, why Christian parents must be intentional about discipleship, how hidden desires can grow when they’re continually fed, spiritual warfare, music and influence, repentance, and the difference between simply confessing Jesus and actually living with Jesus as Lord. And then we get into one of Rashad’s most controversial convictions: Can someone identify as gay and still call themselves a Christian? His answer may make some people angry. Others may see themselves in his testimony. And some will strongly disagree with his conclusions. But there’s one thing I DON’T want you to do: Don’t judge this man’s entire testimony from a 60-second viral clip. Watch the FULL conversation. Hear what his life looked like before.Hear what he says happened in that truck.Hear what he believes changed afterward.Hear the biblical reasoning behind his convictions. Then make up your own mind. Because Rashad doesn’t want the headline of his testimony to simply be: “I used to be gay.” For him, the bigger testimony is: “I encountered God—and I gave Him everything.” 📖 Scriptures discussed: Matthew 5:16 • James 1:14–15 • Romans 5:8 • Romans 5:19–20 • Romans 10:9–10 • Luke 14:27–28 • Luke 6:46 • John 1:1,14 • 1 Timothy 3 • Jeremiah 1:5 • 2 Peter 3:9 💬 Watch until the end, then tell me: What part of Rashad’s testimony challenged you the most?
