Aekta's Whisperings

Someone told me I had a soothing voice and a couple of my friends and colleagues agreed so I decided to make a podcast to share it☺️ I've led meditations in group settings and sometimes find certain whispering voices soothing to listen to (especially ones in which there are books being read, there's random gibberish or talk chatter, white noise, and peaceful, reassuring, or uplifting affirmations). I am hoping to pass on the love in these episodes ☺️ This is me experimenting with my voice. It's relaxing to record these, and I hope they're relaxing to listen to! A Series of Short Whispered Poems to Relax & Fall Asleep To

I was inspired to write these the other day while giving myself some TLC while coming down from throbbing cramps. Using the idea of opposites that I've begun to understand better through yoga nidra & panchakarma, I decided to embody this by focusing on what felt healing to me & the opposite of the pain I was suffering. This led to writing these simple but highly significant & therapeutic poems. Although the essential oils patch I put on myself certainly helped, I believe that shifting my attention towards creative writing & my imagination also made a significant difference in bringing down my perception of pain. I was able to fall asleep after writing these poems. I'll be seriously weaving in this concept of balancing opposites in my embodiment for 2024, since I still have a lot of self-healing to do as I continue to recover from burnout & adrenal fatigue. Creativity gives us our power back. If you're interested in these ideas or prompts for your own trauma healing, or just need some creative inspiration to get out of a stuck, depressed, or painful place, you can find them here- https://www.teachwriting.org/612th/2021/3/16/5-poetry-activities-to-heal-during-a-pandemic ✍️🌬🧠🍦🥰📖📖📖 The poems I read to you tonight, in the order that I read them: 🌌 1. Eternal Bliss⚪️ 2. Breathing🔷️ 3. Poetry 🔮❤️💓 4. Distraction 😶 5. (Untitled) // (The Purpose of Distractions) 💆‍♂️💆‍♀️💆‍♂️🌟🧠🍦🥰✨️ 6. Time ⏳️🟡 7. Him 💓❤️💓................. 8. The Last Poem 🌱🧚‍♀️🧚‍♂️🌳 9. (Unwritten)... (but it will begin again...when the inspiration strikes). 🌏🌎🌍🪱😌 ✨️✨️✨️ Literally guys, there is no 9th poem. Only 8 here. But 9 is the place where nothing & everything exists & the inspiration is held. 😌⏳️🔵💫🌌 Just a warning that the whispers get louder and more dramatic at the 3rd reading of Distraction & the bit on the purpose of distractions... and then it calms down into my softer, normal, whispering voice again lol I just had too much fun recording this one & Distraction & the paragraph that follows after it are probably the climax or the greatest epiphany of this series, though they're all special and were enlightening for me. If you can get past my cliche reading of "Time," 3 times, then you'll get to enjoy the jems in "Him" & my vision of the end of times (& the beginning of another golden age) that's presented in "The Last Poem." --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/awhisperrr/support

Weird Journal Entry about a Recent Trance State & PHONK! & (the beginning of) ASMR Wikipedia...

In tonight's episode, I read to you a weird journal entry I wrote on what I recall from a recent trance state I experienced naturally & read the entire Wikipedia page of PHONK!-My most recent musical obsession🔊🔥☠️💓💓💓 I also begin reading the Wikipedia page on ASMR itself, with some tangential pages branching from the ASMR page, saving the entire ASMR page Wikipedia reading for another episode all on its own! Hope these whispers help you relax &/or fall asleep☺️🌬🧠🥰🥰🥰✨️✨️✨️🥱😴💤💤💤 It was really fun to record! ☺️🥰🥰🥰🧠🍦Many giggles in here. 😄🤭🤭 The Wikipedia reading begins at 11:30. BONUS!-I read the titles of my favorite phonk songs about 18 minutes in if you want some new songs to discover & aren't afraid of "scary music," lol I couldn't take the genre & some of the songs seriously at first, but when I re-discovered it recently, I can't get enough of it! Though...I am picky with the songs I like.... ASMR Wikipedia reading with its relevant tangents begin at around 20 to 21 minutes in. Enjooooyyyeee☺️I think I've come full circle with understanding my childhood fascination with ghosts, frission (auditory-tactile synesthesia) & a strong connection to the spirit & imagination realm. This episode (& as I've noticed many of my other episodes) sound kinda choppy, & I think I realize a huge part of why I like phonk music now lol something about things being "chopped & screwed" is fun & engaging to me...it's like an alarm clock that goes, "Boo! Wake up!" & is better than zombie-states. Lol though some of the lo-fi & relaxing or calm phonk for sleep is also nice based on the mood. I'd say the most relaxing phonk song that I've heard so far that I think many could groove to is METAMORPHOSIS by INTERWORLD & a nice one for the "chopped & screwed" sound is GHOST! By phonk.me & KIIXSHI ☺️🔊🧠💓🔥☠️🤯 --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/awhisperrr/support

Reading the Wikipedia Page of Hindu Eschatology & Trying not to say more "uhm's."

All uhms aside, this episode shares some serious reflections about our times & my recent explorations of the Hindu apocalyptic myths & the myths from other cultures, especially the Nordic one. I am trying to find the similarities & differences. It seems I have more exploring to do. Currently Animism makes the most sense to me, but I also really understand the wisdom of the yogic teachings & it's emphasis on allowing energy to flow through the body...are both cultures saying the same thing in a different way? I think I intuitively understand the unity between different ways of seeing the world & ourselves in it, & its not something that can be explained well when I get complex or detailed. I think maybe getting complex or detailed is missing the point...which is simply to live & experience life rather than get all up in my head about its meaning or "how to save the world." The more I reflect on these things, the closer I get to understanding that there's nothing I can do except to accept the current reality and make the choice to focus on the things that continue the nurturing cycle of life, including a focus on my closest relationships, building healthy new ones, repairing broken ones if possible, spending more time in nature, and in doing things that light me up so that I can be of some service to the world & not lose my motivation. Although this one is a rather intense whisper musings episode, I hope it still helps you relax & fall asleep &/or experience those feel-good ASMR tingles. You might have to turn the volume down & adjust it to a place that sounds just right for you☺️ Thanks for listening & tuning in to my existential musings about the world😅🌬🧠🥰😌 --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/awhisperrr/support
