Eta: WHY IS KATIE’s AUDIO ALWAYS SO BAD?! It’s impossible to hear her. I turn it up for her stories and then go deaf when Kristi talks. It’s been months of this. Please fix. I love them and their case coverage but the AI songs are…. Awful. I hate when they start. They are such a disruption from the flow of the shows and it kills the vibe. I hope that they stop putting them into their normal episodes. I know that just bc it’s not for me does not mean everyone hates them, so maybe creating a separate show for the songs would be an option. Regardless, still 5 stars because the one bad thing outweigh all of their good reporting.

Do your REASEARCH if you are going to cover a case, especially a case that is 11 plus years old, has 4-people already convicted. 3-of them doing life without parole, and 1-that made a deal. If you would have just watched Charlie Adelson’s trial, then you would know that Donna is absolutely the driving force behind this murder. That Wendi is listed as an “ and indicted co-conspirator” on this case. It has become so clear that neither of you do any real research, other than social media, which does NOT have the most basic case facts. Put in the work, or stop covering cases. Pitiful, pitiful, pitiful….. This is NOT True Crime, it’s pure GOSSIP…

I came across the podcast about the Rossi rape case and found the podcast to be very poor. I hadn't heard much about the case and listened for a while. So little information was given about the case I couldn't make head or tail out of it. I don't mind podcasts with chit chat between the hosts, but this was horrific. At the very least they could have given a straightforward summary of the case for listeners who were not familiar with it. I gave it 20 minutes or so and found the podcast a waste of my time. The chatter is inane and silly. If all the podcasts are this bad I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Come on, girls, straighten up and fly right! You've got a good venue but you're wasting it.

Love your show but I thought I would share information on on suppressors and the hows and whys. I own two. It requires applying for a Federal Firearms Tax Stamp and my hubs and I also had to create a gun trust which owns the suppressors. The tax stamp cost $200 each plus the cost of the suppressor. It required fingerprinting and a federal background checks for both of us. The why is HEARING PROTECTION! My Dad was a WWII bombardier and a state highway patrolman. By his 70’s he was pretty deaf. My hubs shot competitively on his twenties and thirties. He also had hearing loss. This is despite using hearing protection. Hunters where I live also use suppressors for the same reason. Also -suppressors suppress the sound but you can still hear the shot. You can even hear subsonic rounds. None of us have a criminal background I promise. We just want to save our hearing.
