BEFORE WE ARE ATHLETES WE ARE SOMEBODIES CHILD, SISTER, BROTHER, MOM, DAD, COUSIN, AUNTIE, UNCLE, GRANDDAUGHTER, GRANDFATHER, GRANDMOTHER, GRANDFATHER, AND SO MUCH MORE. BEFORE WE ARE ATHLETES WE ARE PEOPLE (HUMAN BEINGS) IT SEEMS LIKE A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE FORGOTTEN THAT OR JUST NEVER UNDERSTOOD BUT YES OUR BLOOD BLEEDS JUST THE SAME. OUR LIFE MATTERS, OUR VOICES DESERVE TO BE HEARD, WE DESERVE RESPECT, WE DESERVE TO BE LOOKED AT NOT BY THE COLOR OF OUR SKIN, BUT THE CONTENT OF OUR CHARACTER.. YEARS AND YEARS HAVE GONE BY AND WE SEEM TO STILL BE PREACHING THE SAME SPEECH, YOU’D THINK SOMETHING WOULD GIVE, BUT I GUESS SOME PEOPLE THOUGHT THAT WE’D GIVE UP... THEY WERE WRONG, SISTERS AND BROTHERS AND EVEN FRIENDS THAT WANT TO MAKE CHANGE WITH US LETS USE OUR PLATFORMS TO MAKE SOMETHING SHAKE, STOP ACTING LIKE THIS ISN’T ALL OF OUR FIGHT, BECAUSE IT IS. THESE SITUATIONS MIGHT NOT HAVE AFFECTED YOU OR YOUR FAMILY PERSONALLY .... BUT GOD FORBIDDING..... IT COULD. FIGHT WITH US, LISTEN TO THIS, AND GO DO WHAT IT SAYS AT THE END. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
