When the Lights Go Out

Not only do the hosts just relay information like some other informative podcasts, but they also try to leave some room for some banter and less rigorous discussion as well.

The hosts examine sports topics such as the impact of racism, commercialization, politics, and sexism on college- and professional-level teams. The thoughtful interviews and discussions are buoyed by deep research and the hosts’ curiosity. Their appreciation of sports and the hosts’ regard for each other is evident and it’s fun to listen to the banter between them.
