    Poem 27: "PAUSE" - When you make time to stand and stare, you see the people around running their daily races burdened with care. When you make time to be still, you discover amidst the heat of locking fists with fate, a carefree breeze of mild chill. When you make time to experience each breath, instead of merely inhaling and exhaling, you realize the expansion of your heart's realm, and the deepening of its depth. Why don't we take a pause then?     Poem 26: "DISCONNECTED" - When our friendship begun, we didn't remember how we first talked. It never mattered. Now as it's gradually fading away, we fail to remember the last time we talked.     Poem 25: "SEASONS OF THE SOUL" - Summer: Shimmery golden sunshine, Fierce passion in the soul, Burning away the dead memories. Monsoon: Drenched in emotion, Quenched is the thirst of parched lands. Soul dances at the thumping of raindrops. Autumn: Letting go, Shaking off the memories. Falling in love or falling apart, but falling in place. Winter: Aching for warmth, Barren landscape of nothingness. Dead leaves crushed underfoot. Spring: The soul blooms with life.     Poem 24: "SHE FLIES" - A fragile dream filled in her eyes - A dream to touch the virgin skies. But rendezvous with reality was a deceit, And the dream trickled down to her feet. With a sigh, ahead on the road she moved. Unrequited dream got crushed underfoot. I'll forget it like a nightmare - she pondered. But, what if I don't give up - she wondered.     Poem 21: "THE" - The sun rose today and with it a question arised - Am I doing enough or are my efforts compromised? Am I creating a soulful melody to be gladly heard? Or just another noise in the din to be dispersed? Each day poses its inevitable opportunity, To be majestic or to succumb to mediocrity. Going blindly with the flow or focusing on stability. Rat-racing towards the flock or carving a niche identity. They say, luck favours the brave, Who doesn't follow the map when there's a new path to pave. Isn't rising against the odds what we all crave? Yet someone's a mighty master and someone's an ambitionless slave. A violent dance the question does before me. What am I choosing to be? An inferior drone or the supreme Queen Bee? Carbon Monoxide helps him breathe, With the smoke, his despair fades...     Poem 19: "BANANA" - I slipped and fell, Maybe I tripped on a banana peel. When I ravenously scavenged out the entire cake instead of just one slice, The banana peel was greed. When I embarrassed myself at an office gathering by blurting out a bad joke, The banana peel was stupidity. When I succumbed to the jitters of amateurish psyche, The banana peel was inexperience. When I got trapped in the cycle of procrastination and missed my goals, The banana peel was laziness. When I won a petty argument but lost a special relationship, The banana peel was ego.
