Representing the almost-architects, this episode is all about transparency.  Why is the salary so low if prior experience is so significant? Is generational wealth a deciding factor for the progression of your career? Or are Architects just bad at business? We’re Joined by Part 2 Architectural Designer, Bola Lasisi-Agiri who will help us level the steep hill of the graduate salary. . Bola Lasisi-Agiri is a creative multi-disciplinary designer who is an advocate for working with the community and using emerging technological advancements as part of the participatory design process. He won the Bond Bryan Prize for the best integration of technology and environmental strategies within architectural design at undergraduate level and is working at the renowned international practice, Foster + Partners while undertaking an apprenticeship at Oxford Brookes University. Bola is currently the Director for Tamed Designs and Architectural Assistant at Fosters and Partners.  . Antonia Blege (pronounced bleh-geh) is an Architect practicing in London. She is interested in creating architecture that is people-centred with a strong emphasis on sustainability. Antonia graduated from Central Saint Martins, Canterbury School of Architecture and The Bartlett, respectively. She was nominated for the RIBA Silver President’s Medal Student Awards in 2017 for her work during her Masters in Architecture and also recognised as one of the RIBA's Next Generation of Black Architects in 2018. Antonia is passionate about mentoring and actively mentors architecture students from diverse backgrounds who may have limited knowledge or access to the profession, as a way of paying it forward to the next generation. .
