    #122 | HIGH HOPES

What is it about October that makes everything feel a little bigger? The games matter more. The nights get colder. Old memories come back. Suddenly everybody has a team, a place to watch, something to eat, something to drink, and a reason to get together. High Hopes is about that feeling. It’s baseball, family, the East Coast, old neighborhood memories, traditions, getting together, talking shit, getting a little crazy, and remembering why certain moments stay with us long after they’re over. Sometimes the best part isn’t knowing how the story ends. It’s being there when it happens. October baseball is here. “When you find yourself with your chin on the ground, look around. There’s always something to learn. High hopes.”

    ☘️ #121 | ULTIMATE THRILL

The clock is ticking, life is moving, and somehow everything starts coming together. Sometimes the kids are learning, making mistakes, laughing, battling, and figuring things out one play at a time. Sometimes you walk away without the result you wanted and realize you still won. That’s coaching. That’s kids. That’s life. And sometimes the best moments are the ones you never saw coming. Boom. ☘️

    ☘️ #120 | SOMEWHERE ALONG THE WAY

What makes us different? What are the things that quietly shape who we become, long before we ever stop to think about them? The experiences, the people, the choices, the mistakes, the little things we carry with us. Sometimes we spend so much time thinking about what needs to change that we forget to recognize what’s already there. Maybe the things that set us apart aren’t always obvious. Maybe we just need to pay attention. Take a listen. God bless.

    ☘️ #119 | THERE IS NO TOMORROW

What would you say if you knew you’d never get another chance to say it? Someone from the past. A thought about what we leave behind. And suddenly you start thinking about all the people, conversations, relationships, and moments we keep assuming we’ll have more time for. We never know what’s around the corner. Maybe it’s time to stop waiting. I wasn’t even gonna upload this one. I recorded it, listened back, and figured I’d wait until Tuesday morning. Then I thought… Why wait? So here it is. A conversation about life, death, the people we love, the things we leave behind, and maybe the reminder that we don’t always have as much time as we think we do. Don’t wait. Banshee Out.

    ☘️ #118 | DISTRACTIONS

We’re surrounded by distractions, endless options, and things competing for our attention. From our phones and social media to work, entertainment, relationships, and everything in between, it’s easy to lose sight of what actually matters. Cut out distractions and make time for the things you keep putting off. The things people fear they’ll lose the most, that’s what they take pictures of. Sometimes, you just need to put the phone down, focus, and finish your homework.

    ☘️ #117 | WHAT ARE WE DOING

What if the things we keep chasing are actually showing us who we’re supposed to become? A long shot at the track turns into a conversation about adrenaline, coaching kids, competition, surfing, business, and figuring out what we’re naturally good at. Sometimes you don’t have the answer. You just keep showing up, paying attention, trying different things, and seeing what sticks. Maybe the path isn’t supposed to make sense right away. Maybe we’re supposed to learn as we go. This one is about taking chances, giving people a shot, having some fun, getting better, and going ALL IN.

    ☘️ #116 | THE LITTLE THINGS

Have you ever stopped for a second, looked around at your life, and thought, “Holy shit. When did all this happen?” Sometimes we get so focused on what’s next that we forget to recognize what’s already here. The people, the conversations, the little routines, the unexpected moments, and the dreams we may already be living without even realizing it. In this episode, we talk about crossroads, changing directions, connecting with people, coaching kids who are playing football for the first time, Ziggy, California, radio, television, chasing dreams, gratitude, Halloween, losing parlays, and the simple things that can make a regular week feel pretty damn good. Because you can be grateful for where you are and still want more. You can look around and realize some childhood dreams already came true while knowing there are still plenty of dreams ahead. So what were your dreams? How many of them are you already living? And what dreams are still waiting for you? Maybe the little things aren’t so little after all.

    ☘️ #115 | THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS

What are we actually pursuing? Money? Success? Happiness? Purpose? The next goal? We spend so much of our lives chasing something, measuring something, comparing ourselves to somebody else, or waiting for the next thing to finally make us feel like we made it. But what happens when we get so focused on the outcome that we forget to actually enjoy the life we’re living? In this episode, we get into the pursuit of happiness and why happiness might not be something we eventually arrive at. Maybe it’s something we notice along the way. Health, relationships, money, success, experiences, competition, faith, the little moments we usually overlook, and the pressure we put on ourselves to constantly be doing more. Because maybe not every day needs a score. Maybe not every experience needs a measurement. Maybe a good day isn’t always about winning, making money, catching the biggest wave, getting the promotion, or reaching the next goal. Maybe sometimes a good day is simply a good day. So the question is… Are we actually pursuing happiness? Or are we so busy pursuing everything else that we forgot to enjoy where we are?
