    Matt McGibbon - 18 years and counting at Derby County

    In this episode, Derby County's stadium announcer Matt McGibbon talks about his 18 years and counting at The Rams. All those years mean some cracking insights into the role of a stadium announcer, including almost not making it to his big appearance at Wembley.     SPECIAL - How 'I Predict A Riot' became a Leeds United anthem

    In a special episode, the guys at ShootMusic have helped us bring together the man behind one of football's greatest atmospheres and the man behind one of the biggest songs that makes it work! Nick Hodgson, formerly of the Kaiser Chiefs, wrote the hit 'I Predict A Riot' which Leigh Nicholson has been playing at Elland Road for a few years now and it has had Elland Road jumping. We asked Nick about the song and what it's like hearing it at his beloved Leeds and got Leigh to talk to us about the times he's played it, and when he was advised not to! Alwyn Thompson was on the mic at Old Trafford between 1965 and 1973 and had a host of other duties that would seem completely alien to stadium announcers in the modern game. Our regular hosts Rich Hurst of West Brom and current voice of Old Trafford, Alan Keegan, quizzed Alwyn about how he got the job, what his responsibilities were and how he looks back now at what was a special moment in his life long love of Man United.
