We are back with episode 3 of the pod.  In this episode, radio personality/music tastemaker/cool guy Uncle Dandy joins Mr. Al Pete in a conversation about his love and appreciation of Jazz music. Dandy has a week show that is dedicated to the Jazz genres, so Pete wanted to hear more about how he presents the music to his community and how he indulges with the tunes.  They also spoke about their beliefs on how community "should" run, the benefits of someone being part of Dandy's world, and more.     Jacksonville Jazz Fest 2026 Recap

    What's GREAT, Groovers! We are back with a new season and episode! We apologize for the heavy delay, but just know that The Groove Suite is STILL in motion, and we plan to get the podcast back rolling! Mr. Al Pete steps back in the arena to kick things off with his recap of hosting and DJing at the 2026 Jacksonville Jazz Festival, held in Jacksonville, Florida. This festival happened on May 21-24, 2026 and it was filled with great performances, moments, and more. Pete had the chance to witness acts like Butcher Brown, Moonchild, Nile Rogers, and more rock the stage. He also had a few memorable moments that he shares. But when we're talking about embodying the spirit of a true Groover (or as the music geniuses would say...a tastemaker), these three "que-rators" are such.     RIP Trugoy of De La Soul, 2nd Annual Hip Hop Festival, and The Groove Suite event

    We're back with the first episode of 2023! In this episode, Mr. Al Pete gives condolences and praises to 1/3 of De La Soul member Trugoy, that passed away on February 12th, 2023. Pete also speaks on the 2nd annual Hip Hop Festival that's happening on February 18th, 2023 at James Weldon Johnson Park in Downtown Jacksonville, Florida. It'll be a day of Hip Hop from the local scene. Lastly, Pete gives information on The Groove Suite event happening on February 24th, 2023 at 9pm. It's all about Hip Hop on this show.
