    After a short hiatus, WE'RE BACK! Our first guest of 2021 is none other than Shelley Zalis, the CEO of The Female Quotient. The Female Quotient is a company focused on advancing equality in the workplace through bringing visibility to female and diverse leaders through collaborative partnerships and creating a way for businesses to measure their equality. Shelley also authors a Forbes column that provides advice for women in the “messy middle” who are looking to rise up into leadership positions.     Kehkashan Basu

    This week, we're welcoming Kehkashan Basu onto the podcast! Kehkashan founded the Green Hope Foundation when she was only 12 years old and is passionate about world peace, climate justice, gender equality, and social justice. At age 15, she authored the book “The Tree of Hope” which launched at the UN Children's Summit, and she has also authored articles in the Washington Post and UNICEF. The recipient of countless awards, Kehkashan won the 2016 International Children’s Peace Prize and was recently named to Forbes 30 Under 30 list. Kate is a recent graduate of Newberry College, a former student-athlete, and a current admissions counselor with the Soccer Management Institute. SMI is based in Rome, Italy and works with student-athlete graduates who are not quite ready to hang up the student-athlete lifestyle. More specifically, Kate works to recruit the women's side of the program. The GIST is a sports media startup that creates sports content for women, by women. Carrie has extensive experience in the sports and entertainment industry through working for Rogers TV, TSN, SportsNet, and BlogTO before working for the GIST. At the GIST she handles all things producing, editing, hosting, interviewing, and posting for their social media platforms.
