Many barriers exist that can prevent us from seeing the cross clearly. We want to attempt to remove those barriers and share the gospel. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear (1 Peter 3:15). For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. (Romans 1:16)

Cleverson and Stefanie Faria share a wonderful testimony of God's love reaching across national and cultural boundaries. Having saved a Brazilian man and an American woman, He brought them together in marriage, and called them to serve the people of the Dominican Republic as missionaries. The country is mostly Catholic, and cultural pressures sometimes keep people tied to the spiritual darkness even when they see their need for the Savior. The Farias work carefully and diligently to establish and maintain relationships that keep the doors open to sharing the true light of the gospel with the people. In this episode, we learn how God saved them, called them to the mission field, and what He is doing through them to bring the lost into His marvelous light.     RBP 235: The Spiritual War Against Israel | Guests: Dr. Phil Stringer and Dr. Jim Scudder

    Episode 235 On this episode of the Removing Barriers Podcast, we sit down with Dr. Phil Stringer and Dr. Jim Scudder to discuss arguable the most polarizing nation in the world today: Israel. In the wake of Charlie Kirk's assassination, the political right in the United States has in many ways splintered (some would even argue it has fractured), and the issue underlying this change seems to be Israel and the U.S.' staunch support of it. The disagreement can even be found in the church today. Where before, Christians of every stripe would be unified on the support of Israel, today we find that a substantial and growing number of Christians no longer view Israel favorably and are opposed the our current stance of steadfast support. What has brought about this change? Is it the war Trump waged on Iran? Perhaps the events in response to the October 7th attacks? Could it be that the Information Age has made it so that many can study the events of the past surrounding Israel for themselves? Or is this a spiritual war whose roots run long and deep? Dr. Phil Stringer is no stranger to the podcast and he is joined by his friend and co-author Dr. Jim Scudder to discuss how they believe the anti-Israel stance is the result of the spiritual war against God and His people, and how Christians across the board are lured into adopting an anti-biblical stance.     RBP 232: Dispensationalism: Biblical? | Guest: Dr. Phil Stringer

    Episode 232 Dr. Phil Stringer joins us on the Removing Barriers podcast to discuss whether dispensationalism is biblical. Critics say it is merely a theological fad of the 20th century that we must abandon for the frameworks of early church fathers. Increasingly, dispensationalism has come under intense scrutiny as a conduit to wrong theology, wrong eschatology, and even wrong politics. Are the critics right? What is dispensationalism and is it really just a new-fangled framework popularized in the U.S. by  Moody, Scofield, and Darby? What are the arguments for and against it? Is this a scenario where good Christian folks can just agree to disagree, or is it a salvific issue that demands immediate clarity and dogmatic adherence? Dr. Phil Stringer lends his wisdom, knowledge, and expertise on this subject with the hope that we can at the very least provide a starting point for Christians to study this for themselves. Dr. Stringer is the Vice-President of the King James Bible Research Council and vice president of Dayspring Bible College in Mundelein, Illinois.     RBP 231: Joy Behar: "Jesus not Messiah but a Narcissist"

    Episode 231 While discussing Donald Trump, Joy Behar, the ever-productive source of insane speech, claimed that Jesus never called Himself the Messiah. She said that with a straight face, full conviction, without hesitation or doubt. When rebutted by her cohosts, Behar declared that it would be narcissistic for anyone to declare themselves the Messiah, even if, as in Jesus' case, you really are. Trump's narcissism was the context for this discussion on The View, but it reveals something deeper about what Behar and the entire panel thinks of who Jesus is and what He came to do. Who, exactly is Jesus Christ? Is He the promised Messiah? Do we have to believe that Jesus is the Messiah in order to be right with God? What happens if we don't? The percentage of people in the country with a testimony of genuine salvation is significantly less than the percentage that would claim they are Christians, but this is true of almost every nation that we've explored on this podcast series. Muslims make up about 12% of the population, and the remaining 3% are a mixture of various non-Abrahamic religions. God is at work in the country, however, building His church as He promised. Many barriers exist that can prevent us from seeing the cross clearly. We want to attempt to remove those barriers and share the gospel.
