Ep 16: Brian Jones - Fail. Fail Fast

Today, we have the honor of hosting a guest whose career is a rich tapestry of experience and expertise in the fields of accounting, taxation, audit, and business advisory. With a remarkable thirty-six-year career, Brian Jones's journey has taken him from the corridors of BP Australia to the Audit Department of Touche Ross in places like London, Birmingham, and Geneva.

Since 1989, Brian has been in practice as an accountant, business advisor, and forensic accountant. His specialization now lies in strategic planning, taxation, management, and, intriguingly, forensic accounting. Having worked across industries, from international corporations to small businesses, Brian has also played significant roles in various Court-related assignments.

His insights and wisdom have graced the halls of the Family Court, Federal Magistrates Court, County Court, Federal Court, and the Supreme Courts of Victoria and NSW. We're excited to delve into Brian's thoughts, perspectives, and glean some insights from his vast experience.

Ep 15: Jeremy Galbreath - Traversing the realms of business and academia

Today, we're lucky enough to host not one, but two exceptional guests.

Our first guest, Jeremy Galbreath, is an esteemed individual whose expertise traverses the realms of both academia and business. With an impressive track record of key roles in Fortune 500 companies and a couple of high-tech startups in the USA, Jeremy brings a wealth of experience to our conversation. Currently, he applies his strategic acumen in his role as Director of Strategy at Ecope International, and provides insightful Strategy Consultancy work.

But that's just one side of the coin. From the high-stakes, fast-paced corporate world, Jeremy made a noteworthy transition to academia. He now shapes the strategic thinkers of the future in his capacity as an Associate Professor at Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia.

Our second guest for today's episode is someone a little closer to home. I'm pleased to introduce Hamoun Aria, a fellow board member of MBA Australasia.
