    Inhale: Extend Forgiveness Exhale: Trust Grace (guided breath work, body scan & meditation)

    Hi friends, I am Robyn and I get to welcome you to the Nest Level Healing podcast. It is an honor to hold space for you here. This session is going to start off with some basic breath work to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, the rest & digest, followed by a general body awareness scan and ending with a brief meditation. A class I made for a Restorative Yoga Trauma Sensitive Series called, Finding Freedom, inspires the content for this episode. If you are able, I encourage you to incorporate this into your own practice, whether it’s on your mat, seated, in your car, your bed, the bath. Bring this session into your nest and use the support you can to hold you safely. My main intention is for your highest good, everything I say is only a suggestion to support your healing journey. Please honor your body and toss out anything that doesn’t serve you in this sacred space. Find yourself supported, in a safe environment and press play!

    Guided Meditation Inspired by the Serenity Prayer

    My intention is to hold a virtually safe space for you to be in your parasympathetic nervous system and receive your highest good. This prayer has been extremely applicable and beneficial in my life, may it also be that for you. This meditation can be done laying down with supportive items such as pillows, bolsters, rolled up blankets/towels, eye pillow, essential oils, tea/water, a journal and any other resources you have access to from your current environment. Get comfortable. We begin with some breath work, set personal intentions and dive into the most popular portion of the serenity prayer. “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.” This is read twice followed by a set of focus words with different prompts. The third/final read through is the serenity prayer in its entirety. “...Living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time, accepting hardship as the pathway to peace. Taking as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it. Trusting that You will make all things right if I surrender to Your will, so that I may be reasonably happy in this life, and supremely happy with you forever in the next.” Amen🙏🏽 After closing out with three full breath cycles, take as much time as you have or need to linger in this space. Nourish your inner and outer scenery. Surround yourself with the people and things that support your healing journey. Friends, thank you for joining me in the Nest Level.     A guided meditation based upon my experience with the word of intention. www.myintent.org

    Take some time to tap in to your parasympathetic nervous system, the rest and digest. Breathe and listen to the innate wisdom and truth of your body. Grab a piece of paper or your journal and pen to write down anything that comes up. We’ll start with some questions, go into a little development, deeply listen to the body and identify/activate your word of intention. If you need more time to feel the supportive peace that your word will bring, please take it. This word is a daily reminder to help bring more of what you want in your life. Connect with others by sharing your word and possibly even passing it along when your time with the word is ready to move on. Be curious about your word, study it and really get to know it. Say it out loud and notice how and where it lands in your body. Once you have your word, if you want me to make it into a bracelet for you, message me your word at robynhargrove@gmail.com it would be my honor to make it for you and send it in the mail. In my experience, it’s meaningful to make them as well. (Or just write it on a sticky note to put on your mirror or fridge or in your car?) wherever you’ll see it everyday...Your choice!     Nest Level Healing Debut!

    As my small business remains in a season of pause due to COVID19, Our team has felt a deep calling to up-level personally and professionally. We are doing just that. My background varies with Social Work, Massage Therapy, Yin Yoga, Energy Work/Reiki, Holy Yoga, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Thai Yoga Massage and my most recent training in Massage Cupping!! That’s just me, the ladies on my team have knowledge on a vast amount of topics including Nutrition, Thai Massage, Running, Essentrics, Muscle Testing, and so much more. There is a quote that has been a great reminder for me during the last five months, “I am still making order out of chaos by reinvention.” -John Le Carrre The Community we’ve created at our healing center deserves to come along with us to the Nest Level and this is the perfect way to start. We miss seeing you at your regular sessions and many of you have told us you miss us too. For those precious monthly appointments got taken from us all so abruptly. I want to somehow take everything that’s been preparing me for this year and share a similar space with you virtually. Hopefully, these sessions will help you find your center.
