It is December 21st, 2023. For the Western world and many others around the globe, it's a time of celebrations, generosity, and reflection. Yet in Gaza, there is no time or reason to celebrate: for it is simply day 75 of the War on Gaza. Survival is the only thing that matters for more than 2 million Palestinians, half of which are children. With more than 30,000 civilians killed, and almost 2 million displaced, the Israeli campaign of ethnic cleansing continues to push Gazaouis to the southernmost reaches of the strip, with no way out and no escape from the incessant bombs, ground incursions, starvation policies, and rampant diseases. We call on our governments and organisations everywhere to push for a lasting, meaningful, and immediate ceasefire, as well as liberation and justice from occupation.
