Send a text Jesus died for all of humanity and we all owe the same debt. It is only the devil, the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33), the father of lies (John 8:44), and the accuser of the brethren (Revelation 12:20) that would lead a person to believe they have some special place in God's heart above another. Remember, John 3:16 says, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Why is it important to know we all owe the same debt? It exposes the lie that one group of people is superior and somehow better than another. Ephesians 4:5–6 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. So, what do we say then to all of the differences? If we don't Unite first as the body of Christ then the world doesn't stand a chance. 1 Peter 4:18 states, "And if the righteous is scarcely saved, where will the ungodly and the sinner appear? As Believers, we can't keep silent on racial divides, topics making our news, and other obvious places of division that were not created by God and dividing our world. Remember: Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. UNITY! Remember also: Deuteronomy 32:30 How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up? UNITY! We are not all called to be activists but we are all called to pray in unity! 2 Chronicles 7:14 states, "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. The turnaround starts with us. It starts with humility and is grounded in love.
