    Let's Talk: GMG Patrick Lundy

    •Patrick Lundy Founder-Director of The Ministers of Music is a native of Thomasville, Georgia, a graduate of Howard University and was conferred an Honorary Doctor of Sacred Music by the Wayland Baptist Theological Seminary in October 2019. In August 2022, Dr. Lundy was appointed Chair, Vocal Music Department and Concert Choir Director at theworld-renown Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, D.C.•Dr. Lundy is a composer, arranger and workshop clinician who is highly sought-after throughout the country. He is also Founder-Director of Patrick Lundy & The Ministers of Music – Georgia Connection - which debuted in February 2014. From the beginning of 2000 through July 2023, Patrick served in the Music Department of the Reid Temple A.M.E. Church, Glenn Dale, Maryland. In his last position at Reid, he was Director of Music and Worship Arts, under Senior Pastor, Rev. Mark E Whitlock, Jr., and worked alongside “Sweetheart of Gospel,” Evangelist Myrna Summers. He currently serves as Director of Music and Worship Arts at the Historic Alfred Street Baptist Church, Alexandria, Virginia.•For the past several years, the Choir has had the privilege of participating in the Public Broadcasting System’s (PBS)Memorial Day and “A Capitol Fourth” Productions concerts from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol, accompanying such renown artists as Yolanda Adams, Gloria Estefan, Meghan Linsey, Kenny Loggins, Barry Manilow, Cassadee Pope, AlisanPorter, Amber Riley, CeCe Winans, and others.     Let's Talk: GMG Zak Williams

    •Zak Williams’ infatuation with music can be traced back to his childhood, when he began to gravitate towards musical instruments, first starting with piano. His appreciation formusic was further developed as Zak attended the Settlement Music School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Utilizing his formal music training, Zak played with skill and precision coming to the attention of the late Reverend Ernest Davis, Jr.  Zak was offered a position as organist for Davis’ Wilmington Chester Mass Choir, which he readily accepted.  This opportunity opened the door for Zak to express his musical creativity in thecapacities of musician, songwriter and producer. Under hisproduction,  Wilmington Chester Mass Choir would release He’s Been Good and win 2 Stellar Awards.     Let's Talk: GMG Pastor Donald Gay & Steven B. Dolins

    •Pastor Donald Gay is a member of the legendary Gay family and leads the Prayer Center Church of God in Christ, founded by his mother in 1959. Rev. Gay has released two albums, Soulful Sounds and On a Glorious Day, and has performed at various Chicago venues, including Millennium Park, the Old Town School of Folk Music, the Chicago Blues Festival, and the University of Chicago Folk Festival.•The sibling of the famous sisters Evelyn, Mildred & Geraldine known as “The Gay Sisters”.  Rev. Donald made a name for himself as the three-year old child preacher and the first Black child on the Joe Kelly Quiz Kids Show in the 1950’s.  He also performed with his sisters at the first Gospel Music concert at Carnegie Hall in 1950.•Steven B. Dolins is the founder and president of The Sirens Records, a label dedicated to blues, boogie, jazz, and gospel keyboard music.
