    S5 Bonus - Season 5 Recap

This podcast covers a recap of the fifth season of New Girl. We’re your hosts, Kelly and Kritika, and we originally met through work but now we consider ourselves long distance best friends. We’ve bonded over our love of TV and brought you this podcast to recap one of our favorite shows -- New Girl. In Season 5, Jess is out of a few episodes while on a jury but otherwise finds herself supporting Cece as her maid of honor. She also rekindles a relationship with an old fling. Nick also plays a supporting character to Schmidt this season, but also finds room to grow into his potential. The season really revolves around Schmidt and Cece and their upcoming wedding but we still get a chance to meet a new character, Regan, who takes over Jess’s room when she’s at jury duty. Winston this season continues his journey as a cop but also falls in love with his partner, Aly. In this recap of Season 5, we break down the themes of each loft mate. Jess - We explore Jess’s absence, how she supported her friends, and her career, as well as how she revisited old relationships. Nick - We discuss how Nick embraced his potential this season and continued being a supportive friend. Winston - We examine Winston’s growth in his friendship with Cece and with everyone else in the loft. We also discussed his journey to Aly.
