    Memory plays an important role in the Christian life, both in its proper function but also in its corruption. Dr Rehrer will offer help for Christians who suffer knowingly or unknowingly from the heavy burdens of memory. These burdens, like bitterness or shame, afflict you with seemingly endless reverberations in your thoughts. Do you ever wonder if the vicious cycle will ever end? Will the repeating loops ever be broken? Dr Rehrer will examine memory through the prism of the gospel to find hope in the midst of misery. Through God’s redemptive plan, memory transforms from a millstone to a milestone. God removes the burdens of memory and enlivens hope in His redemption.     Scripture makes the point that we are body and soul, not body, soul, and spirit. Dr Wilde will help us to understand that psychology itself is a theological study. When we speak about psychology, we are speaking about our thoughts, affections, and the causes of our actions — but that is also our “spiritual” life. Much of what we describe as “psychology” is, in fact, our “spiritual” life. Spiritual does not mean only what we think about God or prayer. Our spiritual life is how we treat one another, how we go to work, or what we eat (1 Cor. 10:31). If we think of “psychology” as something neutral and “scientific,” that in itself is a theological position.
