    What is Coming is Going

WHAT IS COMING IS GOING What if the thing that looks like it's arriving... is actually something old on its way out? This episode began with five words I heard David Bayer say: "What is coming is going." And they articulated something I'd already been noticing in my own life. In this journal-style episode of The Fab Over Forty Show, I'm looking back at the period when I was desperately trying to build an online business in tiny pockets of time while my physical business was struggling. I loved what I was creating. But underneath that excitement was something I couldn't see at the time: Fear. Lack. Scarcity. Pressure. And when I finally launched? Crickets. 🦗 That experience began a much bigger exploration of the ENERGY behind what we create — and whether success really requires us to force ourselves through arbitrary deadlines, constant content creation, hustle and sacrifice. I'm also sharing some of the ideas I've been exploring through the work of Regan Hillyer, Kathleen Cameron and David Bayer — not as instructions or indisputable truths, but as perspectives that have helped me think differently. Because, as I explored in my previous episode... Information isn't instruction. Take the gold. Keep your own authority. IN THIS EPISODE: • What "Cricket Gate" taught me about creating from fear • Why loving what you're doing doesn't necessarily mean pressure isn't hiding underneath it • The difference between consistency and forced creation • Why missing a newsletter or podcast episode no longer means I've failed • How I'm building an evergreen library rather than feeding a content machine • Creating infrastructure, architecture and ecosystems that can work when I don't • Buying courses and investing in myself from curiosity rather than fear or FOMO • Regan Hillyer and creating more without demanding more of your life • Kathleen Cameron's idea of being "in your human" • David Bayer's Powerful and Primal states • Using uncomfortable emotions as information rather than evidence that something has gone wrong • Choosing what deserves access to your attention • Why transformation doesn't always look like everything suddenly becoming perfect • What "What is coming is going" means to me SOMETHING TO JOURNAL ON: What am I creating from right now? Fear? Pressure? Obligation? Or genuine curiosity, excitement and alignment? And what if something that feels uncomfortable isn't proof that I'm going backwards... but an opportunity to notice something I'm finally ready to stop carrying? STOP F***ING SAYING THAT: INFORMATION ISN'T INSTRUCTION

STOP F***ING SAYING THAT: INFORMATION ISN'T INSTRUCTION Have you ever been listening to someone you genuinely respect and suddenly thought... "Oh, please stop f*****g saying that." 😂 I have. Twice recently, in fact. And both times it made me think about the difference between listening to someone else's experience... and unconsciously turning their experience into our instruction. Because someone can be enormously successful, wealthy, educated, spiritual, experienced or respected — and still be speaking through the lens of their own beliefs. That doesn't make them wrong. And we don't have to make them wrong in order to decide: "That belief isn't coming with me." In this episode of The Fab Over Forty Show, I'm exploring discernment, success, stress, wealth, the people we admire and what happens when someone else's certainty quietly becomes our own. Because perhaps Higher Self-Leadership isn't about finding the right person to follow. Perhaps it's about learning how to listen without handing over your own authority. In this episode, I explore: • Why someone else's experience of success doesn't have to become your definition of success • The danger of confusing certainty with truth • Why I can now disagree with part of someone's message without rejecting everything they have to offer • Taking the gold without adopting every belief • Why we need even MORE discernment around people we admire • The difference between information and instruction • Why I want you to question me too • What this all has to do with Higher Self-Leadership A QUESTION TO TAKE WITH YOU: "Is that actually true for me?" And perhaps an even bigger one... "Do I WANT it to become true for me?" Stress Isn't Something We Have... It's Something We Do

Episode Title: Stress Isn't Something We Have... It's Something We Do A quote recently stopped me in my tracks: "Stress isn't something we have. It's something we do." At first, I resisted it. Because life contains real challenges, responsibilities and uncertainty. But the more I sat with it, the more I began to see something that has changed the way I approach life, business and even my own thoughts. In this episode, I share a personal story about helping my 94-year-old father through a major life transition, how I began to recognise stress as a subconscious habit rather than simply a reaction to circumstances, and how fear can sometimes be a signal that we've drifted out of alignment. We also explore: ✨ Growing up around scarcity and how childhood environments shape our beliefs ✨ Why peace isn't waiting on the other side of the next result ✨ The difference between investing from desperation versus expansion ✨ How introspection can reveal the hidden patterns driving our choices ✨ A simple question that helps me move from fear back into faith This isn't about pretending life is easy. It's about recognising that we may have more choice in how we respond than we realise. Stress can become a habitual way of beingSolving external problems doesn't automatically create internal peaceFear can be a signal that we're out of alignmentAwareness creates choicePeace isn't something we find later — it's something we practise now"Maybe peace isn't waiting for us after everything gets fixed. Maybe peace is something we can choose and practise now." Everything is working out for me.Everything is always working out for me. When You Feel Pressure… This Is What I Do Now

When You Feel Pressure… This Is What I Do Now Pressure doesn’t disappear just because you become more aware. It still shows up. That quiet sense of urgency…The feeling that you should be doing more…That you need to make something happen. In this episode, I share what has changed for me — not in trying to remove that feeling, but in how I respond to it. Because the shift isn’t about doing more. It’s about noticing what’s there… before you act. This is a softer, more honest way of building — where awareness comes first, and action follows from a place that feels clearer, calmer, and more aligned. The subtle feeling of pressure and how it shows upWhy reacting quickly can reinforce the same patternsThe difference between acting from urgency vs awarenessThe power of pausing (without overthinking or analysing)A more grounded way of choosing your next stepYou don’t have to get rid of pressure…you just don’t have to let it lead. This isn’t about doing things perfectly. It’s about becoming aware of what’s driving you —and giving yourself a moment before you respond. Sometimes that’s all it takes to change everything. If this resonates with you, this is exactly what I’m exploring inside Aligned & Free — A space where alignment meets structure… so your business actually works for your life.
