    Poetry Reading: To imagination by Emily Bronte

    POET  Who is Emily Bronte? Emily Bronte, known mostly as the author of Wuthering Heights, was a poet as well. Part of a talented set of sisters, she made wonderful works that made her a part of classic literature.     TO IMAGINATION  In one of her poems, Bronte wanted to convey that imagination is separate but also a part of ourselves. I liked this poem the most as I try to decipher what I really want in life. How about you?     POET Who is Amanda Gorman? Amanda Gorman is a poet and activist. She focuses on the issues of feminism, race, oppression, and many more. A lady with many talents, she is the first person to be named National Youth Poet Laureate.    EARTHRISE  Gorman presented this poem with the message that she wanted the planet to be given the amount of respect it deserved.
