    Welcome to the Good Juice! A live wine tasting where Tom and Jared invite you into a world of Australia's best micro wineries, explained in a laid-back nature where banter and knowledge about the magical grape juice collide. We're back for the year and there was no one more fitting than Luke Bray who owns Cringila Cellars, in partnership with his father. Cringila Cellars rose to prominence last year boasting a monster beer selection during the Hazy Pandemic (where everyone who was stuck in isolation found beer other than Tooheys New). Not only does it have a fantastic selection of beer and anything else you may want or need, the place is operated by people who genuinely care and want to help you. We were stoked to have Luke on to discuss all things grape juice, beer, the hospo/booze industry and a bunch of other fun stuff.  This week we tasted the Piccadilly Vineyards Blanc de Blanc, Landsdowne 2019 'Super happy' Chardonnay and the Leko 2019 Pinot Noir. All very different in their unique ways, we enjoyed aspects of these wines. Some of them blew us away and as always enjoyed each others company and stories immensely. This week we had the pleasure of having local dive bar, Black Cockatoo's Manager, Jacob Desposito in the bar! He's one of the legends of Wollongong hospitality and a true fan of booze. Despo, Jared and I chatted about all things orange wine, how covid is affecting local business, oxidation, Chenin Blanc,  sustainability and a little bit of beer as we taste: 2020 Valle Du Venom Chenin Blanc, 2019 Minimum Wines Red Blend and one of our new wineries Lansdowne Wine and their 2020 New Pinot, which is as epic as it sounds. Despo was a legend to have on the show, we've been getting feedback that the laidback nature of the podcast is appealing and this guy knows how to lay back - he also has a great palate.     Welcome to the Good Juice! A live wine tasting Where Tom and Jared invite you into a world of Australia's best micro wineries, explained in a laid-back nature where banter and knowledge about the magical grape juice collide.  In this episode we chat with the British legend, David Bosanquet, as well as young Conor Teevan (Births and Deaths) as my mystery guest! We discuss microclimates, acid and why it's important, how good oaked Chardonnay can be, winemaking techniques, climate change, farmers and all the banter in between while we knock back:  2019 Vinden Wines Semillon, 2018 Sigurd 'Hoyde' Chardonnay and Sigurd 2018 Syrah (plus a cheeky mystery beverage). These wines were a pleasure to drink, we were blown away by a couple of them. Also, we'd like to give our deepest condolences to the Van Halen family, you'll be sorely missed Eddie! You might find a couple of puns we've thrown in there. As always we had a fantastic time, and David's time and knowledge is appreciated. You'll definitely learn something in this one.
