    Steven Gill / Gone Buggo

The following episode is with Steven Gill from Gone Buggo and this episode I loved as it was different. It's different in the way Steve grabs peoples attention in order to educate about our amazing world of insects, creepy crawlies, and bugs. Steve's journey includes leggo and Katie Perry, yes the singer, and a humble way of life all for the goal of wildlife education.  I loved this chat, including Steves perspective on hope....which sometimes we need more of!. You can catch Steven Gill on all the links below. Steven also mentions he is always keen to discuss performances, visits, incursions, or collaborations via his email address Gone Buggo Website -  http://www.gonebuggo.com  Email Steven on -  steven_gill@live.com.au  And for anybody interested in supporting the tiny lives of FNQ donations are encouraged to:  https://invertebratesaustralia.org/donate https://www.rainforestrescue.org.au/donate-now/ https://greatbarrierreeflegacy.org/donate Support the show We hope you enjoyed that Wild Chat! Diving Deep with Brett Goodban

Episode 50 is with my friend Brett Goodban and what a yarn it was. Starting his journey underwater, Brett started humbly washing dishes and doing jobs on the live aboard boats so that he could get his dive certifications. Eventually making a career as an underwater dive photographer and making friends with the creatures of the reef, Brett thought he had it all. It wasn't until he fell ill in Japan, 2014, that he later found out he was labeled, in the medical world, a miracle man and should not of survived his illness. Defying all odds, Brett later found he was not meant to leave this world yet, not before inspiring thousands of people to fall in love with sharks, sea stars, jellyfish and Shazza the mouri wrass. Now working at the Cairns Aquarium, Brett is grateful everyday for the medical team in Japan and Australia who saved his life, his sister Tania who whispered in his ear, and the creatures of the reef that rely on him to be their voice. This chat will have you laughing, nodding along, questioning our choices in life and maybe a little tear or two. Enjoy the following Wild Chat If you want to reach out to Brett you can find him here as well as his story - my way - on 9 now.
