    Come as you are

Come As You Are: Jesus Is Calling You Have you ever felt like you need to get your lifetogether before coming to Jesus? Maybe you feel too broken, too sinful, too ashamed, or too far from God. But here is the good news: Jesus is not waiting foryou to become perfect before you come to Him. Come as you are. Jesus Christ did not come to save those who considerthemselves righteous. He did not come for the proud, the arrogant, or those whobelieve they do not need God. Jesus came for sinners. He came for the broken, the lost, the rejected, and those who recognize their need for a Savior. In Matthew 9:9–13, we see Jesus calling Matthew,a tax collector, to follow Him. Jesus was often found eating and spending time with tax collectors and sinners. This shocked the religious leaders of His day. They questioned why Jesus would associate with people they considered unworthy. But Jesus made His mission clear: “Those who are well have no need of a physician, butthose who are sick.” Jesus was showing us something powerful: a doctorgoes to the sick, and a Savior comes for sinners. Many people want to come to Jesus Christ, butthey are afraid of what people in the church might say about them. They areafraid of being judged. They think, “What will they think of me if theyknow my past? What will they say if they know what I have done?” But today, I want you to remember this: Jesusalready knows your past, your failures, your mistakes, and your struggles—andHe is still calling you. You don't have to clean yourself up before coming toJesus. Come to Him as you are, and allow Him to transform your life.

Prayer of Faith can be Repeated

Can a prayer of faith be prayed more than once? Absolutely.A prayer of faith can be prayed a thousand times—not because God did not hearus the first time, but because faith continues to trust God whilewaiting for His answer. In the household of faith, many of us struggle withrepeating a prayer because we expect God to answer according to ourtiming, our expectations, and our understanding of what the answer should looklike. When our circumstances do not change immediately, we may begin towonder whether God heard our prayer. Sometimes, we even change what we arepraying for because we do not see an immediate result. But Scripture teaches us something different. In Matthew 26:39–45, Jesus prayed the sameprayer three times in the Garden of Gethsemane. He continued to submit Himselfto the will of the Father, saying, “Not as I will, but as You will.” Jesusdid not measure the Father's response by an immediate change in Hiscircumstances. Instead, He trusted God completely. This gives us an important lesson about praying infaith. Faith is not simply believing that God will give us theexact answer we want. Faith is trusting that God hears us, God cares, and God knows what is best—even when His answer does not come according to ourtimetable or in the form we expected. When we pray, we can continue bringing the same requestbefore God. We can pray with perseverance, patience, and confidence whilesurrendering the outcome to Him. So, if you have been praying for something and you have notyet seen a change, do not give up in prayer. Continue to pray.Continue to believe. Continue to trust God. Your prayer of faith does not become ineffective simplybecause the answer has not appeared yet. God's timing is not our timing, and His ways are higherthan our ways. Keep praying, keep trusting, and allow God to answeraccording to His wisdom, His purpose, and His perfect will.
