Kristina and Nikki take you on a journey through the book of the day, and it’s accompanying movie. They choose one version of the movie, and not all versions. I was curious to see which one they would choose! They give a very detailed critique of the book, without ruining the whole story. They give a little bit away, but let’s face it, this book was written in the 19th century! The two women are very funny, and offer a look at this week’s book, Little Women, within the eyes of modern women, dare say, millennial women. This gives a whole new twist to the book, as when it was published, it was mostly reviewed by men. They mention historical facts of the time, talk about what was happening with the culture at the time the book was written, how women were treated, and they uncover some of the unusual aspects of the book. I want to say so much more than that, because it is very funny and very smart, but you will just have to listen!
